Well assuming they CAN breed, I'd say none, but not because it would ruin her body, but because of what that child would become. A lightning powered pervert that can fly? Scary. So instead I put the closest option (the one for one).

I say only one and after that Ataru would be glad they only have one because taking after kids is hard work. Going on what Sidzero said that is if Lum kept the child on a loose leash, and let him (cause I think if its a girl she'll take after Lum) go around with Ataru on one of his "outings". Just my thoughts.

But I don't think Ataru's family can have enough money to have many children. Honestly, I think Lum just want's children, not a specific number.

Also, since having/raising a child is (or should be) the ultimate proof of love between a couple, Lum may see it as a way for Ataru to proove his love for her, therefore her desire to have children.

re: Genta's Archive Mound being in Japanese only: well, gotta start learning somewhere! I've made my first blundering attempts at translation with a couple of the Mayuka one-pagers. Strictly "hunt-and-peck" at this point. Not much actual success, but I stumbled onto a few nuggets: e.g: I think Shinobu's son's name is Hiro (please correct me if I'm wrong!).

And, as for The Vote: I would vote for 2 children if the choice presented itself. Which it didn't. But that's okay, too.
