I can only speak for myself and my answer is... yes, I've learnt lots of things from hentai games but I also learnt other things I wanted from TV, Internet and school.

I know nothing...

But the games I play have very nice pickup lines that I try and use in real life... XD

Well not all... one of them that I remember is... "Can I stick it in your pooper" Or something like that... ;D

I heard on the radio; What is the most common line that guys will use to start talking to a girl, ie an ice breaker?

The answer is not a cliche'

Hey, I used to be a regular around newgrounds. Since 1997, back before they even had the portal when it was just Tom Fulp's stuff.

As far as a most common icebreaker, I'd say it's probably the most practical one. "Hello."

Practical, but boring. As far as pickup lines though, I have one that cannot be topped and has actually been successful before, surprisingly. "Nice tits, wanna f~~k?"
Excuse me, have you seen my mind? I seem to have misplaced it...

Oh wow. o.o
I know a good one that I saw on the TV but is more of a pickup line: "I can read hands. Yours say that you're a very good kisser." I never tried to use any of the pickup that I know mostly because I'm too scared that I might freak out someone or something like that. x_X

Apparently the most common first line a guy will say to a woman is "Do you have the time?"

LoL... I like it when we go out (group of guys) and they do that... and forget to take of the watch from their wrist... XD

Epic Fail... ;D

Epic fail? Sounds more like strategy to me. If you don't have a watch, asking for the time gives you an excuse to talk to someone if you're not comfortable just walking up to them and asking them about some random thing.

I tell you though... there's really no trick to talking to women. They're people, too. Just treat them like any other person and let conversation flow natural. Otherwise you just end up looking awkward and stupid. Guys who worry too much about not being liked by girls are most likely not liked by girls because they worry about it too much. It's one of those roundabout things like the fat girl who eats because she's depressed and is depressed because she eats. Even I, who is probably one of the most awkward people in the world when I'm around strange people, acknowledge this. That's why I said "hello" is probably the most practical and most used pickup line. I don't care what UruseiNeo says about it being "Do you have the time?" You always begin with hello (or some derivative, like "Hi" or "Howdy"), otherwise you automatically earn points as being rude. It's such a natural thing that people don't even realize it.
Excuse me, have you seen my mind? I seem to have misplaced it...

I think he meant that his friend had a watch and forgot to take it off when he asked for the time.

Anyways, this isn't MY opinion, this is based off some quiz thing I heard. But it does make sense hmmm... Also I dont think it was supposed to be labeled as a "pick up line"

I think the reason why "Do you have the time?" is supposed to be more common than "hi" is because if you went up to a girl and just said "Hello," for what seems like no reason, it would probably give the impression of being rather forward (we're trying to not give that impression, I believe. Some people don't like that) whereas if you asked for the time, it doesn't feel forward, its not cheesy, there's absolutely no way to judge this man based on that one comment.

Just my interpretation.
