Topic: HELP!!! creating a manga

well me and my friend have been planning to do a manga
and we've done several sketches of the minor characters
but the main ones have either no last name or no sketch
and what bothers us the most is we dont have a good last name
for our hero!! [the guy, the girl has one]
we want to make it sound good and heroic
any suggestions for the Last Name???

Why does he need a last name?

i think his name is zero [my friend has the notes so i dont know lol xD]
well you need a last name because he is a character and just because he
is not real doesnt mean he cant have one
and it makes it more realistic lol

Here's a list I made. I don't know any of these "names" and it is a coincidence if its have meanings in japanese or something like that:

Zero Taoko

Zero Oruma

Zero Miruko

Zero Remi

Zero Tahomi

Zero Gameshi

Zero Okapa

Anyways, try to adequate his last name to his personality or looks. Example:

Moroboshi ---» Falling Star

Ataru ---» To get hit

Another example:

Mendou ---» Trouble/ complications; Hall of the Mask

From another Anime named Naruto:

Akamaru ---» "Aka" means red. Akamaru was a white dog that could transform himself into a big red dog.

Well that will be hard... when is 1st name is Zero... XD

Anyway... these names come from my favorite characters from Tekken 5 XD

Fair enough. Literally thousands of charactors in all sorts of fiction ('though I'm focusing on animation for my reference here) have been created with full names in their creator's minds but we-the-viewers don't hear those names until after the series ended....

Let me modify my suggestion, then: don't get hung-up on having to have his last name now. Let the story start and begin to build. The perfect last name may present itself as you get to know your character better.

yes, we want to make the name resemble the character just like cata said
lol we tried to name him things like bluefire [and things like that] in japanese
but we didnt like the outcome lol

you're right veehie we might come up with name, once we know him well
and well i do hope we start soon, we've been undeciding and well i do hope
i can get to see her so we can work more on it
as soon as we have something ... i'll try to post it  :D
but i dont guarantee it being very soon...
