Thanks to a commentary of Necron99,i decided to open some of the most used aspects of anime,the Fan Service ,to start this and never forgetting that we love UY,I decided to post a Fan Service pic i found in an anime called Excel Saga,it contains the Beach fan service aspect + a cameo of Lum,enjoy

Interesting pic, Cosmic.

I do enjoy a little bit of fan service (especially panchira, or "panty shots" :D)) every now and then. However, I'm not a fan of anime series, such as Ikki Tousen and Agent Aika, which revolve solely around fan service/panchira. The only fan service-centered series I have seen and actually enjoyed was Colorful, because it has some funny moments.

Here are the panchira Lum pics I've accumulated so far.

Best panty shot ever!!! Lum does have the most perfectly shaped rear-end of any anime girl. It's neither too small nor too large, but it's just right. One merely has to look at this panty shot in order to see that.

Lum, Ataru, and Perm are ambushed by Onsen-Mark, who is disguised as a cat statue. We get a nice view of Lum's panties in the process.

Lum steps (or rather flies) in to prevent a fight between Ataru and Mendou from breaking out. Is that a bow I see on her panties?

Same scene as the previous shot, only we have a different view of her panties.

Ataru starts to throw various objects at Lum when she offers to treat his toothache. As she flies away, we get a glimpse of her white panties.

Lum jumps back as she prepares to zap the tree Ataru is tied to. The result is another panty shot.

Ran creates a clone of Lum in plot to get back at her. Apparently, Lum was wearing white panties when she was cloned.

Apparently, Lum wears magic panties. This is from the same episode as the first panty shot I posted. Whereas her panties were originally white, they are now pink.

A scene from Urusei Yatsura Movie 3: Remember My Love. Lum is so excited when she learns that Marchenland is about to open in Tomobiki that she does a somersault in midair. Once again, she's wearing white panties.

Here are some panty shots of unnamed characters.

Ataru uses a yo-yo to flip up this unnamed girl's skirt. Very impressive indeed! :D)

Ten shrinks the girls, and they all swarm over Mendo. We get a panty shot in the process.

This girl isn't having a good day. The back of her skirt gets caught on a bicycle and is torn off.

Rei uses his jetpack to take off. Just about every student (except Lum) gets caught in the blast. One female student's skirt is blown upwards, exposing her panties.

A scene from Urusei Yatsura Movie 3: Remember My Love. Rei barges into the classroom, mowing down everyone and everything in his path. One girl's blue panties are exposed in the process. This is the only other panty shot besides Lum's in the movie. :D)

And now for some panty shots of Ran-chan:

Ran lunges at one of Oyuki's lemmings and misses. We get a great panty shot in the process. Lil' Ran really does have a nice behind. :D)

Ran falls down, giving us a great view of her panties.

Lum tries to keep Ran from falling to the ground... and slightly rips her dress in the process. I love Lum's expression in this pic. ^^

Well, Lum probably doesn't blush because she's so used to wearing her bikini in public. Therefore, she wouldn't mind if someone caught a glimpse of her panties.

What you posted was an example of fan service. I'm not really in to anime series that are devoted almost completely to fan service. Whenever it's completely devoted to fan service, it gets boring and annoying very quickly.

This is one of the reasons why UY desperately needs a remake. So many gratuitous errors. Lum wouldn't need to wear panties under her clothes if she has a bikini.

whoa calm down necron. a remake ? hell no.
reason 1 : in this day and age nothing is innocent
reason 2:look of all the hentai they got. they might make it into a lemon. in fanfictions that can happen. in canon ... rumiko would sue us silly.
reason 3: do you really want a u.s port of that ? answer : yeah

I'm all for a UY remake. It could be very easily updated, and continued beyond the final chapter. I think I may have mentioned it before somewhere, but I've been considering for the past few months doing an updated UY comic myself... just for practice. Of course, if anything comes of it, I'll be glad to share.

I like the characters as they are in the original versions (Rumiko Takahashi and Akemi Takada' versions. UY just needs the rest of the story.
