Which spelling do you consider more correct: Lum or Lamu

I can think of a few things that point to either, what're
your opinions? Aside from that, which do you prefer?

Altough it is pronounced "Ramu" (or lamu),the correct one is Lum according to Rumiko Takahashi

I prefer Lum. Besides it's more used Lum than Lamu. From what I have seen Lamu is used in the italian version. Lum is used in the english and japanese versions.

Lum all the way. With subtitles it is always Lum in the text, even when it is spoken the other way. }:O

Lum for sure, but lamu is fine also, depends on the version i guess and also doesn't rei call her that

Lamu is the right pronunciaton for the name Lum. That's why there are some doubts about her name.

I didn't know that, I guess that settles it

I only knew her name was
based off of that Agnes Lum. Still, it seems the call was left up to the
companies that licensed it, it's spelled Lamu in the french version.

I prefer Lamu, you don't get the proper engrish pronunciation when
you read Lum

But then I'm biased towards anything japanese.

I'm agreeing with dark here(jeez never thought i'd say that) depending on the situation also brings the certain pronounciation, even ataru has said both lum and lamu
