Registration for new members has been disabled. The reason for this action is the overwhelming amount of spam-sccounts originating from gmail. I might be forced to ban gmail completely to solve this. It's too easy to generate spam-accounts and Google doesn't even react on any complaint or abuse-notification I've sent then until today.

It´s kinda funny since the forum has been dead for quite some time, only those who were here at the best time of the forum, like myself, still comes from time to time cause of nostalgy.

Lum-chan, I also admin a SMF forum with some friends and the solution we found to combat bots and spam was to put a simple written question AND a level 3 captcha in the registration form. Its been working like a charm for like 6 or 7 years since then.

I had some new registrations the past view weeks but all of them are human-created spam-accounts. No bots tho. All those spam-accounts originate from small Russian providers so those are completely blocked as well....

Since the war began there has been a boom on russian spam e-mails and such.
