Welcome yet another Anime season thread where we discuss of the anime we watched this past winter season and the ones we are planning to watch this new season. As always everyone is encouraged to pitch in the discussion. Everyone's opinion towards an specific anime is different so lets try to keep things in a civil manner. like always I will start showing the preview first and provide my list.
you can find this image and a more details on this website
http://www.moetron.com/2012/01/08/spring-2012-visual-guide-and-anime-schedule/
I'll be mentioning some anime I did previous season since they covered 2 seasons
Guilty Crown
there a lot of negative feedback about this anime that I tried to ignore but keep having a bag of mixed feelings about this one. I liked it for the most part but there were a few things that were disappointing. as much as I hate it, I wouldn't be recommending this one
Papa no Iukoto wo Kikinasai!
this anime is about a university student starts taking care of his nieces and how they work hard to live day-by-day to stay together.
overall this anime is very enjoyable and I recommend it if you like this type of anime. While I was watching this anime I decided to look for the manga adaptation of this light novel. To my surprise I didn't find just one but several manga adaptations that focus on different characters shown here
http://myanimelist.net/manga.php?q=Papa%20no%20Iukoto%20wo%20Kikinasai!
. my favorite is Papa no Iukoto wo Kikinasai! - Rojou Kansatsu Kenkyuukai Nisshi and I only read this because of the *cough* Yuuta X Raika development.
Shakugan no Shana III (Final)
I've already talked on how much I like this one, all the episodes from the last season were exciting from beginning to end. Now that anime is out of the way J.C. Staff please bring another season of Index
Persona 4 The Animation
as probably said before this is a very good anime adaptation of the game. If you've liked the anime and haven't played the game, shame on you. but if you have a playstation vita you should be looking for the port Persona 4: The Golden.
Nisemonogatari
Oh Shaft, you seriously know how to deliver, the Story, art, soundtrack and fanservice you provide is top quality. Also you gave tooth brushing a whole new meaning...
Nurarihyon no Mago
and
Nurarihyon no Mago: Sennen Makyou
There is something about characters with an alter ego that seems very interesting to me. the first season of this anime starts off slow but picks up the pace on the second season. definitely recommended
Ano Natsu de Matteru
this is a romance anime with some Sci-Fi, this is one of the anime's that I watched only to fill a gap in my week. very good art and entertaining to watch if you like romance anime.
this season doesn't have much to offer that I'm currently looking forward to other than
Haiyoru! Nyaruani
I want to know what have you have to say as well, so feel free to post.

The only thing I watched was
Papakiki
(or "The Pedo Anime of Winter 2012", as they joked about it on KeyAniFans). Not bad. Some FS but it moved into heavier plot (and left the FS behind) for most of the run.
Started watching
Another
but when the crash of Megaupload came along I couldn't get ep.3 and so I left the series behind.
Sad to say, nothing looks tempting for Spring. Maybe Hyouka for my KyoAni fix (that, and my brudduhs at KeyAniFans are also Ahodomo Fansubs and likely they'll sub it).
I'm actually jazzed up about
Ore no Imouto
getting a 2nd season (just announced last weekend). But, that's 6 to 9 months away.

Ahh, Springtime, the season of flowers, love and more anime!
From the ones displayed at this chart, the animes I am watching be Zetman, Nyaruko, Sankarea and Saint Seiya Omega (but lets not forget them short specials from the lovely Kobato)
Here is hoping this new season kicks ass
