I don't think I would go so far as to call anyone around here "friend". Acquaintance maybe, but friends is pushing it.
Excuse me, have you seen my mind? I seem to have misplaced it...

Hikikomori, the phenomenon of isolating oneself from society.

He can have friends... over the internet. But doesn't like to be around people.

I was the same... when I was younger (15 years old). Suffered from hikikomori later on when I was 18... but for other reasons... (love) XD

OMG! Kroptik I've found the girl for you! I mean... your Anime-girl-self.

It's from Maria Holic and her name is Nanami Kiri.

About the your male Anime-self I still need more time.

Guess I'll have to watch that anime then. xD
I'll get on it as soon as I end Zero no Tsukaima (4 episodes to go anyway).
Signatured postponed until I cba to make a new one. x.x

Kroptik, I've found your male Anime-self:

Yamazaki Kaoru from Welcome to the NHK (it is Anime, not Amerime or whatever it's called)

I don't know... but that guy doesn't seem to fit Kroptik profile...

Tatsuhiro's former kouhai (Junior) in high school, who is an otaku. Tatsuhiro once stood up for him when he was still in middle school being beat up by some bullies, since then, he respected him greatly and decided to join the literature club with him when he went into high school. He is currently Tatsuhiro's neighbor and a college student aspiring to be a game creator. He made Tatsuhiro join his dōjin soft eroge project, and was also responsible for turning Tatsuhiro into an otaku. His family owns a sizable farm in Hokkaidō. Later, he is forced to return to the farm due to his father's sickness; at that point, realizing he has no hope of continuing any aspect of his life in Tokyo, he drives away his crush, Nanako. In the end of the story, he is living happily at his parent's farm and also currently dating a girl who looks exactly like Nanako whom he hopes to marry in the future.

That's the discription from Wikipedia, since I don't know the anime either. :P
The bold part fits me like a glove, except maybe the literature club part... :\
But the rest... meh. XD

What?!

You're Tatsuhiro neighbor? Or you mean just the part of being bullied, Otaku and aspiring to be a game creator? XD

That and the part that no one stood up for me when I was bullied.
And naturally I'm not his neighbour, I never met the guy.

Reason why I think he fits Kroptik:
he is an Otaku
only has two real friends (doesn't get too attached to people)
He wears glasses
Dark brown hair is not very different from black hair
He's a massive video-gammer
Kroptik is 19, Yamazaki is 18.

Pretty close, huh?

I've almost finished Chobits! (had to watch it after the quiz I made) And I must say... That Hideki would be my anime self...

But seriously... Kroptik being Nanami from Maria+Holic... I don't know...

Cata male character would be this one...

Tōichirō Kanae
Tōichirō Kanae is the priest of the school Ame no Kisaki. He is the teacher for Modern Japanese and is very popular among the students because of his good looks. He gets a crush on every beautiful girl he sees and is currently "in love" with Mariya, Matsurika and Ayari. He seems to be concerned about Kanako because of her strange behavior in his eyes. She is also the only one who failed in the Modern Japanese exams. Because of Mariya making up a story about how Kanako's elder brother died and that he resembles her brother, he desperately wants to help her. He is similar to Kanako because he begins his sentences sometimes with "Skipped, Dear mama in heaven..." and is also prone to having long internal monologues (and generally looking too deeply into the most trivial of matters) and occasionally, fantasies. He also thinks much about what a person could mean when he or she is saying something. The similarity between Kanako and him is also that they both like beautiful girls. He is half-French.
"It is said that only a fool learns from his own mistakes, a wise man from the mistakes of others."-"A life spent making mistakes is not only more honorable, but more useful than a life spent doing nothing."

I would never be a priest or a nun! xD
Besides, I am not successful whether it's around girls or boys.
I'm not half-french. I'm 100% portuguese. xD

But I do admit there are some similarities.
