Well, not really...
I mean, Ataru didn't tell nothing to Lum but showed his love for her better than ever, and Lum seems to understand it quite well...
Ataru may continue to chase other women and Lum may zap him forever, but there relation is definitely safe!!

Like in the OVA Catch the Heart Lum's way of showing her love to Ataru was Zapping him whit a high voltage charge so Ataru's way of saying I LOVE YOU to Lum is chaseing other girls. This is just wat i think LOLOL
