I can't really think of anything except the usual plot, characters and reviews/pictures. Can anyone think of anything to put in a UY related website?

Maybe put a little "interaction", like polls, contests, chatting, etc. Ya'know, just to get people to keep coming back to your site.

try bluevoda if you want the branded WYSIWYG editor for the site, otherwise there are lots of editors avaible.

I can help you make a site if you want. I was thinking of building one myself, but I haven't really thought of anything good to do with one. I know my way around Dreamweaver a little bit.

if u know how to make a site, you should make like a sister site to this one that contains all the episodes, ovas, movies, and perhaps manga of Urusei Yatsura

well the companies themselves tell youtube to take their videos off the site, considering how UY is off the radar there shouldn't be a problem

I think it would be okay too. It would just be like those other sites that "mirror" anime links. Basically all you're doing is linking to videos that YOU'RE not even hosting (not like you can afford the webspace either).

All the free website builders I can find are templates, I'd really like to build my own template.

Just use something like Dreamweaver dude. There is a lot more control in what you can do. I tried out BlueVoda a few years ago, and it was also alright. I've also heard good things about WordPress, though I've never used it yet.

@UruseiNeo: well, the guy who uploaded all UY episodes in italian got his account banned and the videos are no longer avaible due to "Violation of the contract's terms", so i think that they do care.
@Urusei0Yatsura: if you use Microsoft Frontpage or MS Web Expression, yes, you can create a site with MS office, otherwise, if you're referring to the "Save as HTML" option, the answer is actually no, because saving a word document as a web page will screw up all of the page layout.

There's a big difference between the italian episodes and the ones me and others have uploaded.

The language :p

It could have been taken down simply because the AUDIO was copyrighted.

emm , maybe a big gallery with tons of pictures of every character, including posters, magazine scans and fanarts and of course screen captures from the animated series,ovas, movies. and everything.
each character would have they're own section with all the info, and all the data that u can find in internet.
a chat room, a forum, you can also add a section with download links where people could find everything about the anime and download them, and if u want to be one of the best, try adding versions in foreign languages like portuguese, spanish, italian and french and of course in japanese with subs.
make an amv section.
as you can see , there is a lot of stuff that u can add to your site in order to become a good one.
