When you read it, do the voices of the characters sound the same as in the anime?

What?!

How the hell can that be possible?
Unless you're talking about voices you hear when reading... if that's the case... then... you need to quit drugs... XD

I  actually  stumble  on  the  manga  in  eithgrade in  a  webbsite.  After  i  read  the  summary  i  desidet  it  want  worth  it.  Then  about  two  years  ago  i  stumble  upon  it  again,  I  wass  bored  so  i  read  the  firsh  chapter,  then  i  could  stop  miself  from  read  it.  I  spend  about  2  week  feeling  completly  obses  with  reading  the  manga.

I  was  desaponted  by  the  ending  that  i  started  searching  for  more  information,  hopin  to  find  a  UY  special  i  ended  reading  maisson  ikkoku  and  ranma  1/2.  Until  the  idea  of  a  uy  anime  hit  me.  Then  i  went  to  youtube  and  found  it.  I  read  the  mang  3  times  and  seeing  every  episode  of  the  series  twise  including  the  moovies  and  the  ovas.  But  i   am  still  disaponted  by  hte  ending.

I think its weird because although the anime is in Japanese, I could hear the characters voices the same as they spoke in English.

The  thing  is  i  wanted  a  happy  ending  like  a  wedding ,a happy  future with  children  or  the  very  least  ataru  saying  he  love  her.  Istead  we  get  something  like  it  will  continue  habing  aventres   ,and  that  is  it.

Ps:  Going  back  to  the  main  subject  i  am  happy  i  read  the  manga  first  beacuse  that  got  my  intersted  on  the  series .  That  alone  got  me  trow  the  first  80  episodes.  Not  all  of  them  were  bad  but  becauase  most  of  them  fallow  the  manga  to  the letter  they  lost  me.  There  are  some  things  you  can  get  away  with  in  the  manga,  but  does  not  work  on  and  anime.

i've already seen all of the love hina anime and i like it so much that i started reading the manga and actually i'm kind of liking the manga better than the anime because there are more chapters and some things that i didn't understand in the anime are clearer in the manga.
i never though that i would like manga better than anime xD

When reading mangas I usually give voice to the text... in my head... but its not to everything... and obviously... I have to see the anime 1st... Reading UY manga... when I read Lum saying "DARLING!!!" I instantly hear her voice screaming that... in my head...

But like cata... I don't like reading... mangas at least... for me its like reading the side notes the we see on a picture on a magazine...

The mangas I read its because (like UataruY) I'm told that the story or ending on the Manga is better than the one in anime... like for example Card Captor Sakura... the manga final was much better than the anime one.

That's exactly how I feel about Manga reading! However, any other book unless it's very interesting from the very beggining to the very end, makes me numb.

Even if the end of an Anime is bad and its Manga ending is good, I'm not going to read the Manga. I love UY and I'm not going to read its Manga.

I don't know, it's just the way I am. xD

But you miss out stories that aren't in the anime if you decide not to read the manga, and often a lot of the stories in the manga have been left unchanged and are better for that.

When I see a new manga coming out... I ask my self... "Should I read it?" and I intantly say... "Nah! I'll wait for the anime..." XD

Ya same here.
I'm only reading two mangas, and I have about 3 more I want to read, but that's about it.

Mainly because I want everything in a manga to come out in the anime, but then I'll be disappointed because that doesn't happen.
Signatured postponed until I cba to make a new one. x.x

I am reading the whole manga of Urusei Yatsura after watching the TV series, the OVAs and all of the films but its only because I like Urusei Yatsura so much. I wouldn't do that with other anime except for ones that are only in the manga.

If the manga was better than the anime I would read it instead.

O.O

I thought I was the only one that had this philosophy:

Anime > Manga

I think anime is stronger than manga in making events entertaining. In manga volume 66 From Flower to Flower the weird flower finds out the florist doesn't love him/her and Ten makes a noose out of his tendrils, this is in the episode From the Gardenia, with Love (ep. 29) and it is far funnier.

I forgot to say that I also get a bit depressed when I finish watching an Anime that I actually enjoyed. If it's something that I felt like I was wasting all my time, I get really relieved.

I'm the same way as you... but mostly depends if I liked the ending... if not... I'll go around a few days "depressed" (such a strong word) thinking about what the ending should of been like... and such...

Yeah because when it ends in a good way, I go around thinking like "what are those up to now?" and then I remember it's Anime. xD

Crazy, I know. =)

I still think... In romantic comedies... (that almost goes around a boy and several girls in high school) they should make a OVA about them in the 5/10 years from the last day in the series to see what happened to the cast... XD

That's a great idea and UY kinda had that with the Inaba the Dream Maker OVA.
