Lol. I think Moroboshi is immortal but only with Lum by his side. If Lum isn't in his life he have no energy or strenght to continue living. And it's not only Ataru who is more vulnerable when Lum is gone.

I have been thinking and I think that all characters are immortal in UY. They have survived to tought things like hammers, swords, explosions,etc.

That's probably true, I've always found it hilarious that nobody seems to
get that upset when Mendou seriously tries to kill Moroboshi every
other episode ;D

I think that Lum's Stormtroopers want Mendou to kill Ataru. Shinobu, Lum, Ran, the teacher (I don't remember his name), ... are just used to it.

He is an idiot because he doesn't want to fall in love with Lum and wants to have a Harem. But sometimes Ataru shows his true self. The side that Lum always sees him. And that real side cares about people. Besides almost everyone in UY are idiots.
