lol I read all 24 pages of this topic trying to find the link for the game and turns out that he's not going to finish it

oh well i hope that in the future someone in the game business makes a uy game for ps2

Well, why not? There are tons of games about so many anime...even about Negima, Zatchbell, Full Metal Alchemist...even the Simpsons!!!

With cell-shading cg they can do almost anything about anime chara and bg, Naruto game for Xbox360 is the demostration: good gameplay, but impressive graphics...sometimes it seems even better than anime!!

With such powerfull machines they could assemble easily every inch of Tomobiki, and characters themselves would be far too easy to create!

...the real problem would be another one: the gameplay!

Naruto, Dragonball, Bleach, Inuyasha, even Ranma...platform and/or beat'em up, quite obvious!!

...but Urusei Yatsura? Don't even dare to think about a beat'em up!!! I cannot think about Lum being hit by someone!!!

Besides that, I think that a simple beat'em up wouldn't be the right style for a UY game!

It's not important to beat, but to HUNT!!!

Adventure, puzzle, espionage tactics, RPG...all of this genres could be melted in a single game with a lot of different chapters and sub-games, and playing through them could lead you to a good/bad ending depending on how did you played and/or which choice you made...

To complete the mix it would be necessary a lot of good animation for the intro, the ending and various transition scenes...a good plot and a massive, detailed and PERFECT programming job!!!...



...and, as we tuscans say over here, an oil flask!!

Lol you have really tough this through xD. I like your ideas and I think that a uy game should have all those things. It has the potencial to be a best-seller. If there were more uy games for ps2 then there would be a lot more uy fans and that would lead to the production of more games and so

Heh, I love videogames...I started playing with arcades when I was 11 (Moon Cresta, Space invaders, Galaga...), then I got a C64, an Amiga 500, Amiga 1200, SuperNes, Megadrive, MegaCD, PcEngine, PSX, PS2, PCFX, Saturn, Dreamcast, XBOX, Gamecube, XBOX360 and NintendoDS! Quite obviously, I don't play too much with PC... ^^;

I don't think I could live (easily) without videogames...

yes i fear that too but it's almost impossible to make a bad uy game with today's technologies, for example, dragonball, naruto, rogue galaxy, kingdom hearts are really well made it's almost like you're actually playing anime episodes.

True, they are all good games, but there are a lot of unworthy games out there...Inuyasha's RPG is one of them!!!

I like RPG, I like Inuyasha and I like anime games, but that mix wasn't good enough for me...the story wasn't too bad (but it could be far better than that!) but the graphic was useless!! Characters were deformed all the time (bosses too!) and the battle didn't seem serious at all!! Random encounters happened so often that the hard part wasn't beat the boss but to find him...this way the game becomes boring!!!

The best part of the game was the anime part in the intro...but that's the only animation of the game!!!

...sorry, but they could do much, much, MUCH better!!

And if this is the way they could realize a UY game...I would buy it anyway, but with a great sadness...

We need to gather an army and ask/demand Rumiko Takahashi (or whoever is in charge in doing anime videogames) to greenlight a great UY videogame for the ps2 or the next-gen consoles

Although I have next-gen consoles I think that a uy game would sell more for ps2. Maybe square enix or those companies that did the dbz games would be willing to do a uy game

No, I think the best you can get on a pc is a flash-game by some skilled fan, but is quite difficult as well...

Big houses as Square Enix would product only a game very complex and expensive in production, and I think a UY game would be something a lot simpler (too bad!) more likely to be produced by some minor house, like D3 or similar!

flash games... even if they are sim-date games with the girls from UY... O.o

take a look for the Galaxy Angel sim-date game, and you'll see one similar concept, but more word safe, would be nice.
