Lamù' superpowers belongs from her horns: in the last episodes (I mean "boy meets girl"), losing them, lost the power to fly and to give zaps too !!

The same is for Jariten: into an episode had his little horn broken and lost the power to shoot flames.

By the way, now that I think more deeply, there is another way to neutralize Lamù' superpower: during the first season, Sakurambo gave to Ataru a magic ribbon that inhibited them when he tied around her horns.

Do not forget that Lamù and her family are a parody of the Japanese tradition that regards the oni, who lose their powers when their horns are cut off (there is also a reference in the anime "The wonderful world of Paul": in last episode the boy manages to cut off the horns of the devil his enemy, killing him finally)

Something that is quite strange to me is that the Oni people have different powers, for example, Ten can breath fire and can fly, Lum has electric powers and can fly, Lum's father can fly (or at least that is what I've seen so far), Rei can turn into a Tiger-bull but can't fly, Lum's mother... I don't know what she does, but probably has the electric powers.

I think the powers are respective to each family, I believe I can explain this better with a picture.

Another way you can tell its her horns is because in the anime when Ataru ties a special yellow bow on one of them.
