I told him that it was romantic comedy about a man who is in love with an alien. I showed him a picture of Lum to show that it wasn't what it sounded but then he said that she looks like a cat which made it disgusting.

This friend doesn't watch anime and manga but once bought a book on how to draw manga because he thought it looks cool (he gave up immediately though because he thought he didn't have any talent). I don't know whether he can be a fan of anime and manga (let's call it A&M) because he doesn't watch it but he does like the art style.

for someone who is not familiar with anime, start them off with something that isn't perverted or very violent. A good anime, I believe, would be "Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles" since its one of the few anime you will find that doesn't have a tendency to include perverted aspects, and it has a nice combination of action, fantasy, and romance.

Heck, you do know that MOST girls go to the beach at night skinny dipping, right? And like... in locker rooms and... well, I think you got the point. xD

But seriously, there's no chance to be offended by nudity. Sailor Moon, Son Goku, etc. There are nudes everywhere: in TV, in the beach, etc. There's no way a girl would be offended by UY. xD

Yea i doubt a girl would be offended by nudity. Hell i introduced urusei yatsura to 1 of my female friends who liked anime and the only reason she stopped was because she said ataru and his friends are a bunch of A-holes lol. But she finished the series when i told her he gets better later on.

He was offended by the alien aspect of it, that people want to have sex / have relationships with aliens. I also told him about Chobits and he thought that people want to have sex / have relationships with robots. I have never seen Chobits but have seen it in a top ten list from JesuOtaku.

If ou want to introduce someone to anime, you better start with something short, preferably not too ecchi, or they can get the wrong idea of anime.
Then get them into one of the big ones like One Piece and it's done.

A cat, really? Yeah, that's what happens when you tell people who don't like anime as much as you might, lol My brother and I are the only ones in our family who really like it, so anime is considered rare for us.

Yep, its a normal thing xD I use to dislike it, but what can you do? But, no way Lum doesn't look like a cat. How you gets horns mixed with cat ears I don't know. lol

The reason why he thinks she looks like a cat is because in the image I showed him her pupils look more oval shaped than usual.

You do know that's a fan drawn version of Lum, right? That artist has a particular style that's easy to recognize.
Actual Lum from the Anime and Manga looks a bit different depending on who was drawing it that episode.

I don't know who that artists is although he has done a lot of UY stuff including Ran-chan. I haave that same pic as above but she is nekkid. There must be like 40-50 pics by that artist. He or She has a unique style.
Same artist drawing 4 of the UY girls is swimsuits.
I can't post it because it's too large a file. But that artist has a lot of stuff out on the Internet. I could post some in My Gallery later.
I believe he/she made them for a special calendar.

I have literally hundreds of pictures of Lum, close to a thousand actually, naked and otherwise. I only keep the ones that actually look like Lum. Some look like Lina Inverse with green hair.

So only barely resemble Lum so I don't bother with those. Lum was drawn by so many different artists over the years. Lum the Forever was where Lum looked the least like Lum of all the movies. I prefer Lum from the TV series, myself.

You should put all those pictures in a .rar file and share them. I've only got about 194 pictures of lum, not including other UY pictures I have that don't feature her.

No one seems very interested in the animated GIF's that I've made, so I wonder how helpful uploading hentai pics would be.

I'm glad someone liked them.

They don't actually play at the proper speed on the website like they do on my PC for some reason.
I made a few more but they are way too big for this website so I'd have to post them on something like Photobucket and post them here.
I'm not really into posting hentai pics. There are other sites that have that stuff.
Commments kinda tell people you want to see more of that sort of thing.

I like animated gifs for some things, still pics are good too.

I'm so happy I got away from Picasa and got Irfanview instead, it's miles better and free too!
