Hell if Moroboshi died, Lum would probably just use one of her "Spacializer" gizmos to go back in time, and then use another gizmo similar to that copying device in the Manga to create a double of him. Well - you get to see Lum's reaction in episode #100 ( which is on tape #20 ) in which Lum thinks that Ataru is dying, and momentarily thinks that he is dead. Lum's reaction to Ran when Lum realizes that Ataru is alright tells it all.

Well come on, all you'd need to do is just propose to Lum and then kick Ataru's ass... he'd be happier with Shinobu anyways (or someone else, I dunno, I haven't seen past the first 16 episodes) and Lum would probably be better off with a nice guy like me.. >)

And anyways what's better than having your own personal aircraft (Lum herself, or on a rainy day, her UFO) and a chick who could carry her own weight in a fight? I'd keep a pair or 2 of those ribbons around anyways (episode 12 I think.. that one was FUNNY, second place aside from Ataru pulling that dirty trick to win the game of tag..)... just in-case >)

Maybe if somebody did kick Chibi out of the Fan-club (I have been calling them by this for too long, so why change,) he might actually becoume a shoo-in.  If Ataru died, the other 3 members would be practically killing each other and this might make her be turned-off by this.  She still wouldn't hook-up with Mendou because of how he has been for so long and Onsen-Mark would be out of the question.  Chibi would be very upset because he lost the only life he had.  Lum might sense on this and get with Chibi.  That or maybe, (Chibi kicked out or not,)  She might fall in Love with somebody else at least 8 years later and fall in love with his own re-incarnation.  but that's 8 years later, so Chibi might have a chance.

No but I'm just being realistic. Lum only sees Mendo Megane and the others as friends and more specifecaly(spelling, sorry) as Ataru's friends (well, maybe not Mendo and Shinobu).
