A little news and calendar blurb on another site (dedicated to All Things Rumiko) lists a daily history of the Rumic World. I often find it interesting, and its where I get a lot of the Rumic trivia that I pass on over here.

So. TODAY, February 6th, in Rumic History (taa-ta-da-daaa!):

1988: Urusei Yatsura 5 - The Final Chapter was released in theaters. It was co-released with the Maison Ikkoku Final Chapter movie (poor animators! having to churn out TWO movies at the same time!).

Since I'm snowed in here in Northeast Ohio (over 30cm fell overnight!), I think today's a good day to stay in and watch UY5.
