Topic: How many FPS was UY made in?

How many frames per second was Urusei Yatsura made in? I've been wanting to know this for some time. I think its a fast rate because of the fast paced running scenes.

since it's a tv series, i think it has a standard 20/24 FPS rate

I don't think it was more than 5-7 frames per second at the MOST. When I was ripping scenes for my animated GIFs, I only noticed changes in animation every 5-10 frames.

And slower-scenes would actually need MORE frames than fast running-scenes, since faster animations can be more erratic and jumpy.

Were you ripping from the DVD source or a torrent? The frame rate rate for torrents is typically lower.
