What is most precious to you?
« on: December 18, 2008, 11:22:07 AM »
I'm sure we all remember that episode and chapter of UY where Kitsune's teacher made his students draw what was most precious to them, then afterward told them to bring it to class the next day or he would destroy it, and then completely forgot about the assignment the next day, right?

So if you were in that class, what would you have drawn?

For me, it would have been this baby:

That's my car before I bought it, when it was still in the showroom. 1977 Chevrolet Camaro LT. Other than a few minor dings and a missing headliner in the cab, it's almost in perfect condition. It's got a 305 V8 engine in the baby so it purrs. Once I get the hood scoop put on it, and buy the 454 engine I want to put into it, it's gonna roar. I already replaced those ghetto looking way-too-big rims with classic Firebird wheels (I couldn't find classic Camaro wheels, so I got the next best thing until I get some real rims to put on it). Ain't she a beaut?
Excuse me, have you seen my mind? I seem to have misplaced it...

Well, thruthfully this is the most precious treasure that I have

But thinking at that episode I had lie and I'd drawn this one

I HATE THIS WOMAN: she's the anchorman of the most boring and noising reality/talk show on ari in Italy.

AND MY WIFE DON'T LOSE ANY EPISODE !!!!

This is my list of sorrows:

- M. De Filippi (the woman into the second photo)
- tumor
- Heartquake
- murder
- etc. etc.....

So, that day, into the classroom, I'd say: "Oh my God, I forgot it at home....."  :D

Hmm... I would draw my crush. But if it was something that was asked from my teacher... I would have to "lie" and draw another very important thing in my life: Urusei Yatsura".

My most precious thing... would probably be my familly.

But if we're talking about material things... I would say my most precious thing is... nothing and yet everything... (now you figure that out) ;D
"It is said that only a fool learns from his own mistakes, a wise man from the mistakes of others."-"A life spent making mistakes is not only more honorable, but more useful than a life spent doing nothing."
I wonder which one is true!?

Very "zen" of you, FallinG_StaR. :*)

Wow. The more I think about this, the bigger the list of choices becomes. If we look past friends and family (only for the sake of comment in this thread) ....

Having just gone through the death and rebirth of my computer, I'm acutely aware of how precious my World-Wide Web access is to me.

I lost 40 pounds [18 Kg] of weight this year, and have improved my general health in other ways (remember the "youth potion" Cata gifted to me in the Birthday thread back in March? I tell people "It Worked"!). That ... my re-discovered health and vigor ... is precious to me.

Edit: Hey, sweeeeet Camero, Sidzero! Man, that thing's in outrageous shape! Good luck with it and keep us informed on that BBC install (you goin' with a "crate" motor or building your own?).
