Episode 218. All Star Banquet! We Are Immortal!!

In the oddest places, everyone is finding invitations to a festival. They gather to try and figure out who is responsible and decide to attend and see what happens. What happens is the sun goddes show up. and at the end  of the episode many many familiar people from the series show up as well  :wink:

About your question no they dont get married cause that would have ruined the series but Ataru do get a kiss from Lum.

The ending was intended to be the 5th movie, "Boy meets girl", containing exactly (well, almost...) the last two volumes of the manga, but in 1991 was edited "Itsudatte my darling" , the 10th anniversary special...

Yeah, I know that but he's talking about the end of the series. Anyway seems like UY has no end cuz it always ends up were it started... mostly.

Well, the tv anime ended in 1986, the manga in 1987 so the ending couldn't be a real ending... :/ ...they didn't know Lamu was going to marry Ataru or not and so decided to leave open the whole story, waiting for the final tankobon... ...and then the 5th movie... ...and another open ending... :9 ...this had to remain a never-ending story!!! :D
This is why I love it soooo much!!! :*)
But Lamu and Ataru marriage has been shown in Inaba's OAV, so...

Well, the episode 193 (last episode) of TV Series are very cool.
I saw this episode years ago because ALL the Tv Series was emited  by a local channel in madrid(Spain).
Not a real ending but this episode are  very funny.

Almost every trouble Ranma had during the story was due to the search for the man's spring, that should be able to solve his problem, but obviously the story ended with no solution... xP
Shampoo, Mousse, Genma, Ranma and all the other "transformers" remained with their problem, ready for another story, a story that Rumiko Takahashi will never write...

But I intended "the end" as the ending of production...
IMHO the "never-ending" style of the serie is one of its toughest assets!!! :*)

i think i've only seen the movies and the specials, but they're all great. the last movie is pretty freakin funny ha ha ha

If you could watch those movies after seeing the serie you would see something different...!!!
