How to create a masterpiece
« on: August 06, 2010, 12:04:00 AM »
Recently, at the comics shop of my city, came a cartoonist to illustrate how it works.

I was impressed by the care with which the writers prepare individual vignettes: for each of them had at least one page of instructions for designers.

I was wondering: how did R.T. to achieve great success sagas 3 times each 10 years?

She had already planned everything from the beginning?

Or left "imagination to power" every time?

Or both ?

Or none of them ?

I'm sure its a bit of both... I mean imagination and planing of each chapter... not "everything from the begining"... XD
"It is said that only a fool learns from his own mistakes, a wise man from the mistakes of others."-"A life spent making mistakes is not only more honorable, but more useful than a life spent doing nothing."
I wonder which one is true!?

I believe that an artist thinks of something for years. That's one of the possible reasons. You can't create Ranma or UY from scratch. It takes years to create the characters' personalities, appearance, abbilities, family, backgrounds, etc.
