I haven't forgotten Lum and Ataru. I just haven't found voice actors who could do a good English voice for those characters. Fumi Hirano's a very unique voice actress who really made the character of Lum come to life. What we need is a English voice actress who could do a great job of voicing Lum as well. Finding a good English voice talent for Ataru shouldn't be too difficult. Don't worry.

Heh, don't tell me anything about UY dubbing, I just wrote about it on a local fanzine and I'm still angry!!

The italian adaptation of UY has been finished only two months ago (it started in 1983!!) and there has been something like 4/5 different dubbing crews!!! And only for the tv episodes!!! The movies had two other crews (quite bad!), plus the one for the OAV and two of them weren't dubbed at all!!
In 24 years the characters with less voice changes are Lum, Ataru, Ten, Cherry and Shinobu...the other ones were changing from an episode to another, sometimes the changes were even in the same episode!!
The first dubbing staff was excellent!! The voices weren't so similar to the original ones, but the actors were extremely good in their acting! Lum's voice was very different but the acting was so good you could feel her love for Ataru simply listening to her "darling"!! _/-\o_
Too bad the translation wasn't so good at all! 
After about 40 episodes part of the staff was changed and the greatest loss was Ataru's dubber, the best italian Ataru ever listened!
After other 40 episodes ALL the staff was completely changed with inexperienced and inadequate voices (Lum's voice was simply terrible, it looked like her grandmother's!!), that with the discontinuous adaptation quality created the worst possible italian "season" of UY.
All of this happened until 1986...last year started the dubbing of the missing episodes with a good staff (with the first Lum's dubber, still very good after all this time!) and a great adaptation...and in this last part they changed Ataru's and Shutaro's voices!
Well, at least they were good voices, but it's frustrating to listen to characters with voice changing so often!
After tv episodes were dubbed the OAVs too, but with another staff completely different from the others...
And I bought all of the DVD...simply because at least there were the jap audio track included! Too bad the subtitles are useless, they contains the italian adaptation and not the original translation...
...I'll have to collect all US DVDs too, afterall...

I've actually found a dub that's even worse than the UY dub. Look up "Transformers Headmasters dub" on YouTube. The English voice actors in that dub don't even try to put forth any effort. They also refer to Cybertron as "Cyberdon" and Rodimus Prime as "Roadimus Prime." Here are a few clips.

Ah, yes. The old 1980's Zelda cartoon. A lame bastardization of the Legend of Zelda franchise. Sometimes, I'm thankful I'm too young to remember certain things from the 80's.

As for the CD-i games, those were even worse. The good thing I have to say about those is that if they weren't made, we wouldn't have the hilarious YouTube Poops.
