What anime music do you like best? It can be from anything anime: an opening, ending, background music, anything.

There are good anime music... and there's bad anime music... OP or ED or BGM are all included...

Almost every time I start a new anime, I end up adding the opening or ending to my music list. In this case I'd rather use the short version here instead of listening to the full length version.

That one is by Megumi ^_^

She's one of the best Voice Actresses/ Music artists out there. It's rare to find people who do both.

Even rarer is on that does ENGLISH voice acting and music for anime (such as Vic Mignogna, who coincidentally has a role in the english version of Nuku Nuku)

Hey, is the full length good? I wanted to avoid it cause I was afraid I'd lose the feeling I get from the short version. Cause the video provides half the enjoyment and its hard to keep that enjoyment from full version parts.

I'm not picky, I'll go with anything as long as I like it. xD
I seem to always have at least one anime song in my current music list (right now, it's Don't Make Me A Shrew from Ranma).

Wow (again). I just looked her up. Megumi Hayashibara. AnimeNewsNetwork has 281 voice credits listed PLUS her "staff" credits (which include her theme song OP's and ED's). She's better known in the Rumic Universe as the voice of female Ranma Saotome.

On top of all that, she's a licensed and registered nurse and a recent Mom.

Wow. A real Superwoman in my book.

RIGHT, I forgot about that, she does so many characters that I know. Hmm... I wonder if she did Ranma's opening, I'm gonna check that later.

5, if you count the two specials (2003?) The first Nuku nuku is a 6 OVA I think, then Nuku Nuku TV and Dash ^_^ (Still looking for the 6 ovas in dub, but I finished Dash dub and found TV dub)

Not quite an anime per se, but I liked the Chrono Trigger opening video music. Should get around to trying that Tenchi Muyo CD I'd found.

This is the only mecha anime I like, mostly because the mecha don't look too much like people which looks rather mudane to me, especially when they make them look like ninjas. If only other mecha had similiar looking types of mecha. This is one of those openings in which its well worth looking up the full opening; my favourite part is the choir and piano part right after the TV version ends and there is something really fresh feeling about the usual Eva upbeat notes.

Other ones I like include the Trigun opening, a spaghetti western series about a man with a huge bounty on his head who causes chaos wherever he goes. Excellent English dub.

Detective Conan, a solid detective anime mostly concerned with murders that has has a high quality dub and the kind of themes and plot complexity that belongs in an anime for older audiences so don't be fooled by its animation style. Is currently an ongoing series that spans 500+ episodes.
