I've finally exhausted my ideas for Urusei Yatsura threads, I guess its a lot harder when the anime and manga have ended. I wonder if this means I should leave this site after the new OVA has finished as I will have nothing left to discuss UY related?

When Forum is dea--- I mean asleep, we don't usually post but every once in a while a new user posts something and the rest of the community answer to the post. That's how usually the Forum wakes up. I don't know if you visit other Forums but I visit one very often and that one is full of discussion, mainly because of the ammount of users and also because half of the people there just want to troll and joke around.

If you want to leave because you lack of ideas to make new threads, go ahead but I think that's a dumb reason to leave ANY Forum. That's why Forums are communities, people trade ideas and discuss it. There are other ways to contribute to a Forum: posting related images, videos, answering questions from other useres, posting news, etc.

I don't really have to make new threads on the board I visit most. Sometimes it's fun to watch trolls go back and forth with inane psuedo-intellectual arguments.

But it's like you said, UY has ended a long time ago (except for the incoming OVA) so there's a limit as to how much we can discuss.

It's not like this is a general anime forum, I'm guessing this happens to all anime-specific forums someday...

In a way, you guys are right, we really are running out of interesting topics to discuss. But I'd really hate to see this forum go. =(

I think we need to start up some kind of project. Ya'know, get us more involved, instead of just discussing all the time.

Maybe. Depends on what fits UY. I guess music remixes and fan games might be fun, but coming from someone as inept in general as I am...
