Topic: Favorite Concepts

This topic is so people can list their favorite concept they like to see be used to bring out appeal. Idk if that makes sense, but like for example, mine was in the "Final Chapter" movie when the duplicate of Lum caused confusion for everybody. For me, I became way more interested in finishing the movie, because Lum and Ataru were both acting very stubborn.

For me, it was when Lum lost her memory and got kidnapped by Mendou and Ataru went through SO much trouble for getting her back.

Also when everyone was dying and when Lum died, I got SO pissed off that I wouldn't move from my sofa until UY got on TV again. I was crying like a hungry baby. Then, I realized that UY would only show the next day which made me think that, it was the end of the series. However, the next day I decided to "re-watch" the series again because I loved that show too much and when I sat down to watch the "1st episode" again, it was the follow up! And oh my god, I cried of happiness when I found out what the heck was going on. I remember yelling at the TV screen "DAMN YOU RUMIKO TAKAHASHI!!! I THOUGHT YOU HAD KILLED MY FAV. TV SHOW SO FAR!!!!! AND YOU ALMOST KILLED ME, YOU STUPID IDIOT!!!" x'D

When you say they died, you mean the episode where they went on that island and Ataru was the last to die?

^ Yup. Actually, Ataru didn't die. He just knocked himself unconscious when he saw himself with a gun. In the end, it was Mendo impersonating Ataru but he never found out.

Actually, in the OVA "Ryoko's September Tea Party" Cherry says Ataru did already find out their scheme and that he was the one acting. I'll stick with this version! I don't want believe Ataru would hit on a random nurse right after having find out he had killed all of his friend!

yea i suspected that Ataru knew what was going on because why the hell do you hit on a nurse after finding out all your friends are dead especially by your own hands!

^ When I saw that ending, I was like "so that's what crazy people do" because I think the doctor said that Ataru had gone insane. But think about it, maybe that was the way Ataru was coping with things. =/
