I was reading this article published on Repubblica.it, the most important italian newspaper: it talks about the COSPLAYERS, "gobal obsesion, not only japanese" !!

About the pressman, this phenomenon begun with Urusei Yatsura !!

He writes: "all begun in the early 80', when some people started to dress themselfs as Lamù" (in italian: "Tutto è cominciato a Tokyo e dintorni alla fine degli anni Settanta, quando alcuni ragazzi presero a vestirsi come Lamù, protagonista di una serie animata" spiega con il suo accento toscano Francesca Dani, fra le cosplayer italiane più note").

Is true ?!?

If so, someone has got some photos about the first Lamù's cosplayers ?!?

I had seen that a long time ago but I had no idea the influence that Lum had in cosplaying.

when someone heard about dressing up as a character (besides in Halloween people) though of star trek or Starwars, but now its very common and very well detailed that it looks like someone escaped from a movie set.
But how can I be the judge if I haven't seen a live cosplay XD

That's not even a good enough argument, Uncle Gio. The best argument of all is this one:

Don't kids go to the beach? So... what's the problem? They probably have seen everything except Vs and Ps I'm sure because bathing shorts and slips are... prone to accident, like bikini bras. xD

And yeah, stupid questions come up when you're dumb, lazy to search info or misunderstanding something.

Personally, I'm always checking if I'm accident prone because people are like "ahah... you're not even noticing" xD Heck, even if they tell me right away, it's still embarassing xD

I don't know about you but I'm waiting for 3 years to see a Lum cosplayer in Portugal. =(
