English dubbed episodes

I just finished watching the English dubbed version of the first episode of UY. This has to be one of the most hilariously bad dubs of all time. Mr. Invader sounds like Vector the Crocodile from Shadow the Hedgehog. I was expecting him at any moment to say "Find the computer room!". Shinobu sounds more like a 27-year-old woman, rather than a teenager. Ataru sounds as though his hormones are becoming active (they probably are). Lum speaks with an accent. The person doing her voice is trying to imitate Fumi Hirano's voice, but she falls a little short. Cherry's voice fits him well actually.

Yep,the dubbing of UY in english is one of the most obscure,it sounds better in japanese

I feel insulted, that was terrible, may lum's wrath smight those who did that, you also forgot that Mrs. Moroboshi sounds like a guy

I don't remember her sounding like a guy. On the bright side, those English dubbed episodes might be worth MSTing.

Only the first two episodes of UY were dubbed in English. Sakura didn't appear until the fifth episode. Apparently, the UY movies were dubbed in English, but I haven't seen any of the dubbed versions, so I can't say what she sounded like in those.

it sounds that dubbing in English is terrible...
but if it's dubbed in Chinese, I think it'll be much worse...

Man, in episode 2 dubbed Jariten don't say Lum but Rum.
Thank god they are not dubbing more episodes

That is one of the difficulties with english dubbing, L and R are so similar that that happens alot, another example of this would be Kirara from Inuyasha, yes that is the right spelling but it is pronounced Kilala
