Topic: The "Top 10 UY Episodes"...

NOTE: This is not a thread asking you to list your top 10 favorite episodes. This thread is about the top 10 episodes as voted by Japanese viewers. I replaced three of the episodes from that list with some episodes I thought were much better. Here is the new list (the added episodes are in bold print):

1. Happy Birthday, My Darling!
2. Darling's Dying?!
3. After You've Gone
4. Scramble! Rescue Lum!
5. Pitter Patter Christmas Eve
6. Darling, I Love Your Kindness!
7. Parallel Worlds! Where's Darling?
8. Lum's Class Party
9. A Beautiful Girl Brings Rain
10. The Terror of Meow

Below I list the episodes I replaced and why:

2. And Then There Were None - I realize that this episode shows us that Ataru has a more human side, but to me, it's a little depressing. It's not a fun-to-watch episode. I don't think I could watch it more than once. I would probably reserve this for a most memorable UY moments list.
6. The Return of the Purehearted Fox! I Love Shinobu! - My only question is "Who humped who in order to get this episode on the list?" Let's face it. The only memorable scene from this episode was the fight between Kenshiro and Kotatsu-Neko. Other than that, this episode is mediocre at best.
10. I'm Lum the Notorious! - Had this list been the "Top 10 most memorable moments of Urusei Yatsura", I would understand it being on the list. However, there are many episodes much better than this one.

Well,"lum the notorious" had to appear since it is the start of the saga,no matter how good or bad was the plot,necron99,anyways i agree that number 2 wasnt so great at all

It's not that I didn't like the episode (in fact, I liked it). It's just that I didn't think it was as good as some of the later episodes. How about this list?

Hmm,seems more believeable than da original one,i must say but what happened to Lum class party? it failed yer test?

I'll put it back on the list. Besides, I always liked "Lum's Class Party" more than the episode about the girl who is tormented by a rain spirit. "Lum's Class Party is such a great episode. Lum spent the entire day wondering why everyone was avoiding her, and at the end, all of her friends revealed themselves to her and threw a surprise party in her honor. Good stuff.
