Sorry posting on the go. Couldnt read all 12 pages but I just wanted to add that, imo Akane and Shinobu share remarkable physical and emotional traits. For one, they always become super human muscle chick when ticked off, and for some reason just from the manga, Rumiko's portrayal of Shinobu and Akane would seem like Shinobu is Akane's inspiration.

Just wanted to add that on the fly.

Akane Tendo from Ranma 1/2, she is pretty much the same as Shinobu in every way, especially boy troubles
