I voted for Ghost in the Shell, Lupin III, Cowboy Bebop, and Akira, all of which are great and highly recommended animes. They also happen to be the only animes my brother enjoys watching besides Trigun and Transformers Armada. :D)

Personally, I never cared for Inu Yasha. Is that series supposed to be campy? The dialogue just seems incredably cheesy to me. Whenever I hear lines such as "He acts as though he really cares for me!" or "Why can't he admit he loves me?", I assume it's supposed to be a spoof of love stories. I can see how it work in a series like "Urusei Yatsura", which is supposed to be humorous, but in an action series like Inu Yasha, it seems rather odd. Maybe I just don't get it.
