Yeah,it becomes a problem afterwards,for instance ataru sometimes exploits that Lum is so wildly in love with him that he uses this for his advantage,example was in OVA 9 when he mentioned a speech about he wanting to share his heart with lum as one,lum really fell for it but didnt take much 2 see thru it

In short words,lum and ataru have a relation that perhaps have its most bizarre twists,sometimes sad ones
