i have an idea, we find both the fat lum and the fox lum insulting to lum's image, but the reason no one is complain as much about the fox lum is that it does look like lum that much, it is so different from lum that it can almost be considered another character, but this fat lum is a mutilated version of lum, the fat we can look at the pic and say it is lum faster than we can say it about the fox lum is the reason why we are complaining so much

Now that you mention it...Fox Lum didn't even look like Lum at all. If someone showed me that pic, I wouldn't even say it was Lum at all (maybe Kitsune's girlfriend or something).

I like the way you think, Kroptik. I can see how it would be Kitsune's girlfriend. I think I might be able to get over this episode once and for all.

Considering that Kitsune has fallen for Shinobu, I have a feeling that his girlfriend won't be very happy about it. Maybe that's why she doesn't appear for the rest of the series...

I'm convinced that the fox in the screencap isn't Lum, since it doesn't look like her.

I'd definitely choose the authentic Lum. I don't hate Fox Lum, but I'd choose Asuka or Ran before I'd choose Fox Lum (even though it's still really Lum). It's just that I prefer (girly) humanoids...

Since we're on the topic of Lum versions, the Lum version I detest is "Cow" Lum (when Lum gets bitten by a cow and she believes she'll turn into a cow). Yuck!

I think that, deep inside, Kitsune dreams of being a pole dancer someday. Disguising himself as Lum is perhaps the only way he can realize that dream. :D)

As for that striped fox girl, I have a feeling that she is Kitsune's ex-girlfriend. I wonder why she left him...
