i was in 7th grade...just moved to Ohio from NC. i was already an otaku but i havent seen the lovable spaceship of lum yet.  i was sitting next to this girl, she smiled at me and saw my tenchi t-shirt and we started talking about anime! :3 and she told me about her dad whos been into anime since a long long long long time~! @_@ he was a big UY fan! he sat me down and started making me watch UY as soon as i came into the door @__@ two days straight..many laser disks, dvds, movies and tapese later...i was obsessed. joe-sama showed me the <3 of my anime. UY! :DDD then, i met other men into UY! then i found out my friend was there in the begining of sugoi con and her dad (joe-sama) it was held at his house! @_@ i was astounded! and all these people i met and started going into cons and then

2003! :3 we did our first cosplay Group UY! and that was our proudest moment of uy-ness n///n so thats how i came to love lum-chan!
