Just start saying you hate Lum (I know it's hard). When he sees that you hate her he'll start saying he loves her. Then when he has seen enough episodes just say you were kidding. He won't be able to say he hates her anymore because he knows her now.

Problem solved, thanks to reverse psycology. ;D
