I think I've already stated that I like Ataru because, everything he does reflects on me.  Not on the ball most of the time, and quite flirtatious.  As for Mendou, the guy is just plain funny.  Acting all supierior, and then acting like a coward the next...oh yea with a postering masculine exterior...it suddenly gets shut down for being claustrophobic and afraid of the dark.  Genius!

I agree that ataru and mendo r da leading males in da anime,they get many scene time and both of them are loved and love lum

Lum doesn't love Mendo in some episodes she hates him or she ignores him completly.

The public baths episode... That I think its episode 101. Operation; Peek in the Woman's Bath and some others where Mendo and Ataru have similar behaviour, and I think in one of those Mendo is worst than Ataru.
