Soon I will be seeing this for the first time, I hear it's even more surreal/scary than Beautiful Dreamer.

Any suggestions about things to look for in Lum The Forever?

Don't just watch it once. One time is NOT enough to see it all. You might need to see it two or more times. Yes there are some scary moments. You won't get nightmares of it. You could see some old Japanese tales in it. And it brings a very good message to the viewer ^_^
The carrying emotions in this one are great and well presented.

David Lynch and Movie 4 are very similar. They take exactlywhat the audience wants and crams it down their throats untill they choke on it.

Hehe, David Lynch is my favorite director. Seen nearly everything he's done. Beautiful Dreamer seems to have a little of DL in it, but comes across more like a surreal Stanley Kubrick movie.

I don't know. Movie 4 just never did it for me. Its the only UY I wont even own. Im not claiming its not artistic or anything, but it just didnt feel like UY to me. There just wasnt enough of the usual hi-jink comedy to suit me.

Odd movie... No one ever seems to leave it with a neutral opinion.

First impressions...

Well, I really hope Yamazaki thought about showing this film at Cannes.

I liked this one a lot, more than Remember My Love, even though RML had a better soundtrack in my humble opinion.

This was even more disturbing than Movie 2, everything degenerated into daily battles between two sides of Tomobiki citizens...and everyone seems to treat it like it's their respective jobs! It honestly looks like Lum and Ataru get killed at the end by everyone else.

Good dialogue all around, Ataru, the stormtroopers, and Mendou had some very good scenes. The baby in the center of Tomobiki seems to be a nice reference to Kubrick's 2001.

Another nice touch was the trailer for Movie 5 at the very end. Whose bright idea was it to put it there? Just something Kitty attached to all newer masters of Movie 4?

Movie 4 is awsome! In my opinion it's one of the best Anime movies made. It also inspired the way I write some of my storys it's an awsome movie! My only complaint is that they didn't have enough stuff with Ten in it. He's one of my favorite charactors next to Kintaro. GO TEN! Flame Atarus butt! Bwhahahaha!

The director of UY realy mess up with the movie's message, he said to the fans to continue with there lives and forget UY. For me it was the worst thing he could have ever said and the worst thing that the fans would ever wanted to hear. From all the movies this is the only one that keep you with a sad feeling about it.
