i can just see it now, ataru is tricked into the wedding, the church is destroyed and ataru confesses to lum in the rumble, then they get married why everyone is recovering from the destruction

you can't say that because there isnt an episode that we could see them really married. On the OVA the Inaba the Dream Maker there are more than fifty futures and we dont see how is their life.

I'm pretty sure that Lum and Ataru will eventually get married. Ataru can't keep cheating on her forever. There will come a time when he has to mature and swallow his pride.

that's always a possibility, but i doubt it with lum and ataru, as soon as ataru confesses his love to lum's face then she will be dragging him off to the nearest chapel, that's just how lum is
