Maison Ikkoku
« on: August 20, 2011, 11:40:13 PM »
Are anyone watch Maison Ikkoku? I'm already done with the Manga, since it was available in German. On the Anime I currently on episode five.

I really love that (after Urusei Yatsura) and I compare myself with Yusaku Godai :D

It has also so many references to Urusei Yatsura (and Urusei Yatsura have many Maison Ikkoku references).

I bought the first MI manga two days ago, I hope it's as good as the anime  :)

I saw a few episodes and I enjoyed very much. But is too big. (one of Mrs. Takahashi qualities)

Well, among all the works of R.T. this is the one that I like least: little rhythm, too sentimental, too many qualms about "abstract".

By the way, this is THE ONLY ONE manga made by the "princess" that there is an erotic scene: during the last episode Godai and Kyoko make love (even if well hidden under the sheets).

About the rest, all the female protagonist arrive virgin to the marriage...

... or, who knows: maybe they are making love in secret when their author is distracted!  ;D ;D

I finished the Maison Ikkoku manga. It's awesome, more love comedy than weird things unlike UY, and much more serious. I reccomend this manga to all UY lovers.

I bought the 16 Volumes, except for one, the volume nÂș 8. Anyone knows where I can buy it in English, used or not?

oh, it's hard to get it since it is out of print. Maybe look at ebay for used things.

Yeah... but ebay.uk don't have it too, nor ebay.com.
I already read the volume on Mangafox, but I would like to own it, to complete my collection. it's a pity...

I'm on episode 79 atm, I really like this series TBH. One of her most serious series that isn't based on fantasy.
