Spring 2011 Anime Season
« on: April 09, 2011, 03:18:40 AM »

Ok I think the title says it all... usually its Janus that does this but... Oh well...  :/

I have to say I'm really disappointed... I was hoping for something new... but they only give me the same old stuff but just with different art work and name. (2nd seasons not included) I'm starting to think that that bill, that people say will "kill" the animation/manga industry, isn't a bad idea if the only thing they can do is copy each other. Maybe killing it here and now something good may rise from the ashes...

Now appart from the rest there's a few I like... Maria+Holic: Alive; The World God Only Knows II; Ao no Exorcist; Denpa Onna to Seishun Otoko and maybe Toriko.

Thanks for posting this falling. obvious as it may be, I've been mostly a repeated schedule of lather rinse and repeat. Since I work evening shifts I don't have much time to do many things after work so I watch any updates from my youtube subscriptions, read website blogs or play games. Since I stay up very late at night, as I am doing so now. The next day I don't wake upuntil its time to get ready for work again and the vicious cycle continues. I have weekends off but I do outside activities.

I didn't see much this season except Infinite Stratos, which was a very generic harem anime that fall sucker to every time.
Harem, check
Childhood friend, check
loli, check
fanservice, check
pool/beach/onsen episode, check
oblivious male lead, check
I can't complain that anime is getting repetitive and generic since I enjoy watching anime like this.
there are a few factors that make me watching an anime, it may be story/plot character development, character interaction or overall enjoyment. The way I find anime is by eye candy first may it be for a character design or art style, op/ed songs or any other reason that I of found it in other mediums (e.g. youtube videos) and last but not least by recommendations.

there are two titles that I'm looking forward to but have a date to be announced

Working!! season two
http://www.wagnaria.com/index2.html
 and Persona 4 anime
http://www.p4a.jp/

I need a new season for Index, there is still much more material in the novels waiting to be animated I just know it.

I missed you guys and I need to make myself some time so I can visit you more often :P

Just watched Tiger & Bunny and I must say... this one looks like its going to be good (added to watch list) There's a few other animes that I think might be good... but... If I end up watching them its because I have nothing else to do at work (bored)... ;D

#Invalid YouTube Link#

Tiger & Bunny

I like it... Because in reallife I'm sure Superheroes would do exactly this (I would). Capitalism... we got to love it...  ;D

And Cata is right... This is the season of Gay/Lesbian... there's at least 3... or 4...  :/

This will be totally offtopic but it's about Maria Holic Alive so please bear with it. xD

Looking back at how I used to be (when I was... 16?) I used to be just like Miyamae Kanako (Maria Holic's main character) in her way of seeing things like... phantasizing random pervy moments with a bunch of cute girls and also in her bad luck because all that I imagined never became true so... yeah. x'D

But now, I still think of some pervy stuff but I'm so much more mature. So when I'm watching the sequel, it's like I'm re-living my 16(?) years again. =)
