Sex forbidden to students
« on: October 15, 2010, 02:21:47 PM »
- Hey, have you heard the news? Matsui has been expelled from school !!
- Why, what did he do?
- HE KNOCKED UP HIS GIRLFRIEND !!

Sounds like a trivial thing, right?!?

But I Do!

You know why?

The same episode is shown on both UruseiYatsura (when it comes to extraterrestrial that looks like a baby) and Maison Ikkoku (I accidentally noticed last night while I was poking around the shelves of comic books).

Perhaps this is a reference to an event where RT was actually a witness.

But the fact is different: in Japan really a student threatened with expulsion from school for a case like this?

What comes out, that sex is "forbidden to students"?!?

don't know much about Japanese but in my country, a case like this will surely cause you expelled if you still in high school,
and if i'm not wrong, the one who was mentioned in the conversation still in high school

In Portugal:

No way. No one is expelled from school for sex if the expelled one didn't rape anyone. Sex is private, privacy matters don't matter to school.

In Japan:

I have no idea.

But no matter what happens in Japan, punishing people for having sex is insane (if it's not a case where you're having sex while you should be working).

I think we're missing the point here... Having sex is not the problem here... like cata said:

That alone doesn't get you expelled... you can even do it in the class room (as long as you don't get caught)
Now "knocking up" your girlfriend (high school 16 to 18 years old) shows that you are an irresponsible person and not fit for the Japanese society... that and the fact that parents association (if there's one in Japan), and school board can see that its better to expel you to send an example and to avoid embarrassment.

That's my view on the subject... as I'm an expert in this things. (I watch to much Hentai)  ;D  :/

I think Falling_star is right.

By the way: in Japain you become "adult" at 18 or 21 ?!?

About me, I lived a similar situation about 24 years ago.

I was at.... [ahem] well, <<it was the second time>> that I was at 2nd year of high school and, suddenly, a girl begun to wear <<too large>> clothes.

One mounth after she lived school.

Few day after we knew the truth: she was pregnant !!!

Everyone sayed: "OOOOOOOH !"

About her boyfriend.... well, HE DISAPPEARED IMMEDIATELY: noone knew what he did or where he runaway, he seemed has been disintegrated !!!

About her, now she's 40 (and her "baby" now has 24 years AND IS REALLY COOL !!).

Back to the object of the tread: in Italy no expulsion but you're rather forced to leave the school, 'cos' the "mother" have to learn to care the incoming baby (maybe in the future will can finish the studies).

In this cases the couple ask to the judge a special permission to get married before 18 years !!!

NATURALLY THE FATHER MUST NOT RUN AWAY !!!  :((

But that's reason why sexual education should be teached in school for more than 90 minutes in 5 years. -.-'

In Italy sexual education at school is pratically FORBIDDEN: is DENIED to talk about sex to under 14.

Well, this is not a written law of the Republic but it's an ancestral taboo of the italian school.

After 14 there are three ways to learn about sex:

- "CIOE'", a magazine <<for girls only>>: the point is that the heading "the gynecologist's advice" always occupies the 4 middle pages, so that parents can remove them without that their daughter(s) get suspicious;  ;D

- PORN:  :9 until the twentieth century was the exclusive territory for the boys, recently has been "discovered" by the girls too;

- FAMILY: here depends on the type of parents: there are those who talk about it with ease even before their children have to go to primary schools and those who merely change the subject (if you think that in Italy there are more than 60 million people in the middle there is a great variety).

But, in summary, the recommendations are always the same:

- For boys: "Do not make someone pregnant until you get married";
- For girls: "Do not you get pregnant until you get married."

- for both: "For all the rest, YOU ARE THE FACTS

So... it's best to act gay until you marry someone. xD

There's something that I think it's SO stupid that my mom used to tell me all the time, ever since I was 6 years old (not joking) "don't trust men! Only trust him when you really really really really like him, okay? But don't trust him, too much. Oh and only share things with a man when he's the person that you like the most and ever liked. And when you grow up you'll have so many crushes on boys. You can have fun with them BUT DON'T TRUST THEM AND DON'T LET THEM TAKE ADVANTAGE OF YOU!!!"

I was like: "Shut up!!! I don't care about boyfriends okay? I don't even want to get married! Can I go play football, right now?" xD

Seriously, it was like all men are scum except the one guy who's a prince and comes on a white horse to save me from the scum. -.-'   I used to get really pissed off until I was 11 or so because in my first 12 years of existance my best friends were boys so I always felt like she was insulting them.

But anyways, most moms will tell their daughters to not let men take advantage of them and that they're scum and yada yada yada. Oh and of course, don't forget about the prince charming. So many bs! -.-'
When it comes to boys, I would guess they say to treat girls good and respect them.
Dads is different. Dads don't talk about sexuality with their daughters. Until a boy comes in the door with her. xD

Dads and sons are SO different. They talk about women, what one likes, what the other doesn't and sex itself! They don't punish boys to have porn magazines or a porn history on their pc! My dad got pretty pissed when he found a porn site on my pc (I was like 16 or something) and I was like "man, I would like to see the reaction you would have if I was a guy! You would probably laugh it off and say something like that's what men do when they have no females around ahah!".

Anyways, the point is that you should talk to your kids in a realistic way. Not telling different things to either gender. Boys, have fun and watch porn! Girls, stay pure and wait for a prince charming. Man, if I waited, I swear I would kill myself (what if I like a princess more?) or dying while waiting because things like that don't exist!

Like, first explain how babies are born. Not too explicit first you grab that then grab this and bla bla bla. O.o

Then go into explaining that there are people that like other people and yada yada yada and all that's okay.

And then, tell them about deseases and protection and pregnancies. Like tell the girl to take the pill and the guy to be careful and not to run away from "accidents".

Finally, you can tell them about porn if you want but even if you catch evidence of your kids watching porn without you telling them about it, don't punish them. Just say that "it's okay".

But anyways, that's just me. Maybe I'm too crazy. xD

I find it funny that (almost) everyone sees pregnancy as a factor to getting married...

But that's just me. Maybe I'm saner than I thought...

The thing is that the husband has more rights and responsabilities towards the child. Besides, it's a way to keep the boy in the right track.

I was thinking more about there is always abortion... but I didn't want to bring that up because it's something that some people still see as something bad.

Abortion shouldn't be fully okay because it's like "screw condoms and pills! If something happens, there's always abortion".

Abortion should be okay for situations such as rape, diseases like aids and critical situations where mom's life is in danger.
