Genshiken is about a university student who joins a anime club and how he is introduced to otaku culture and also features someone who is anti otaku being dragged into it against their will. The first episode opens and has the introduction of a fictional anime watched by some of the characters watch. Watch the first series

Its very good. I personally prefer the dubbed to the original language version as it has good voice acting.

Indeed... they use lots of Gundam references and many other animes and in one of the last episodes one of the characters does an impersonation of Ryuunosuke.

Btw... Genshiken 2 dubbed... I only know about spanish dubs... english... haven't seen any.

It's not fictional... it really exists... LoL

It was fictional when the anime started they later made it into 3 OVAs. In Genkishen its a 26 episode anime adapted from an ongoing manga and short excerpts are shown in the series that were made into the real Kujibiki Unbalance episodes.

I have watched one of the episodes but I wasn't impressed by it. Its not the kind of anime I'd watch anyway.

I decided to unlock this since it still hasn't a "correct" answer. However, if after a while it still hasn't an answer, I'll lock it up.

Also, Urusei0Yatsura I think you better download Genshiken 2 from torrents.

Download first bittorrent. Install it.
Search for torrents that have Genshiken 2 dubbed in english, download them and wait until the download is finished. After being finished, click on the torrent you just downloaded and make it going to bittorrent file. Now, it's downloading the files you wanted. (Genshiken 2 dubbed).

Sorry if my explanation doesn't help much but it's the best I can do. =\

Hmm... Now that you mention it Sonic... that is for the 1st season... I didn't even payed attention... It was the 1st link that poped up with Genshiken+english+dubbed... XD

But still I think this is to be closed... I've searched forums and other anime streaming websites and there's nothing about dubbed Genshiken 2 and even finding Genshiken 2 was hard for me when I started watching.

The only Genshiken 2 dubbing I saw until know was in spanish... and even the torrents that I see around are with english subs... The only way is buying the DVD's or waiting until someone uploads the dubbed version.

I'll leave it to cata to lock the topic or not...
