I know I have already said what my parents own, but here are photos with some more stats and comments (stats are vital for making other people's cars look better!):

Vauxhall Vectra C 1.9CDTI 150 (147 horsepower 48.9 MPG combined 6 speed manual gearbox, 0-60 in 9.5 seconds, top speed 135 mph)

My Dad bought after repairing the broken power steering on the old Vectra B. Before he had a Vauxhall Cavalier or a Vauxhall Vectra A. I don't know why he wanted a car with this amount of power as he as sold the caravan beforehand.

Huge boot, poor leg room. Bucket seats and very good heater and air conditioning system. Good value for money.

Nissan Almera 1.5 Twister
(88 horsepower, 107 mph top speed, 0-60 13.4 seconds, road tax band G, 160grams/kilometre CO2 or 160 grams of CO2 per 0.66miles, 42 MPG combined, five speed manual, Euro Emissions Standard     III), good insurance and good NCAP score (4 stars).

Noisy and uncomfortable seats, high road tax. Low NCAP rating (two stars when it iwas released in the year 2000) and high insurance cost. Funny radio. Very reliable.

This used Nissan used to belong to my Grandmother, which she sold to my parents when she bought a Nissan Note (a great car, very sporty ride and lots of standard equipment, massive amount of legroom even when compared to executive saloons). My Grandmother previously owned an old Nissan Almera and before that two Nissan Sunny cars all of which my parents later bought from her when she was finished with them.

I would recommend a Note to anyone looking for a good small car, with nimble handling and practicality. Please don't take my word for it, watch this and make up your own mind.

This is one was kinda strange... not because of the image on the car... but the car itself... because a VW Polo in Japan?!

To be quite honest, I'd be quite embarrassed to be seen driving that car, especially in Canada XD

Not only a VW Polo but even Volkswagen Passat 35i types rolls around there:

If the paint on the hood of my 35i goes bad, I'll get Lum airbrushed on it and have it finished again with clearcoat. That would be nice, right?

Or, you could do what those cars had done to them: those graphics are NOT paint! Those are printed onto whole sheets of vinyl decal stock and then "wrapped" onto the panels of the car! Takes a BIG printer and is pricey, BUT the graphics are superb....

from the liner notes to LuckyStar episode 12:  "There is a car with a Primula (from Shuffle!) decal on its hood. Such cars decorated with intricate decals are called "itasha".

edit: I think THIS is that car (recreated in that episode of LuckyStar):

Me? All I crave is a lowly die-cut うる星やつら logo for the tailgate of my '05 Chevrolet Colorado LS (a sweet little truck, BTW).

AS THE OWNER OF MY OWN SET OF THOSE CHEESY CUSTOM LICENSE PLATE NUMBERS  >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( , I can tell you that most states allow you to customize your license plates for an additional cost over the cost of yearly registration (mine are about another $44 per year to have and keep). I would suggest you enquire with your provincial motor vehicle registrar.

I would like to have a Lum decal on my car, but if I did I would have it in single colour and be a lot smaller, about 20cm squared.

I don't really like customised numberplates though, subtle decals are much more classy.
