So, wich one is your favorite?

Note: You can vote even if you haven't seen all the movies, if you find a movie better that the one that you voted for you can always change your vote. As for me... I didn't saw any of them yet and I'm only thinking in voting when I see all of them

I have Beautifull Dreamer and Lum The Forever.
I prefer the Beautifull Dreamer, only because seems to be more misterious!

You can get Lum DVD's and comic books in www.amazon.co.uk most of the DVD's are sold out but u can buy them used from an other custemer that is selling like i did and the book and the DVD where in perfect condition it even smeld like new

i like the first one, because the plot is very good (i only seen the 4 and the 1) but i red the 5 and i prefer the 1 , i just hate it when things in the best moment happen weh nataru was going to kiss lum the stupid bus stopped (DAMMIT) O YEH AND BENTEN SHOWS UP SO ITS VERY GOOD

i took one in the 4 movie when lum soes the elctric attack
but now i cant take more i do prt scr copy it to paint save and then when i close the window of the real player the image appears black

Yeah because you're snapping 'part' of the movie, I only got lucky with a couple screens with WMP even with Gadwin Print Screen; what you should use is Media Player Classis, it has a 'Save Screenshot' feature in the file menu so all you need to do is increase screen size to max, pause and snap...I just found this out last week ago when I needed to use that program to watch a few episodes of some random anime

The only reason why i chose "Only You" was because that's the only movie out on DVD in Blockbuster. Although i have seen Beautiful Dreamer, Remember my love, and Lum the Forever, it's been too long for me to actually remember what they were all about. As for The Final Chapter and Always My Darling, I haven't even seen it yet.

Lum the Forever.

Best cel style, interesting plot (Pale Cocoon, anyone?).

-50 points for Lum appearing as the Oni Queen or whatever. IT BURNS MY MIND'S EYE! SKREEEEEEE!

I've seen all the movie because I downloaded them, I dont get why everyone buys all the Dvds, when I download them and burn them to CD

Anyway Movie 5 was a great example of how Ataru and Lum's love can overcome anything

Well, let's put it this way: if everybody would download the movies insteadt of buying some of them there would be noone able to share the movies on line!

...and worst of all, if noone would buy dvds the editors would quit their publishing or maybe even the production...

If I really love some anime I think it's worth buying it, at a low price when possible! ^^

Downloading and burning a CD/DVD its more expensive than buying the original...
You waste time...
You waste energy (electric)
You waste money buying the CDs
You probably wasted money buying a computer LoL

You probably wasted money buying a CD Rw Drive :&
You probably wasted money buying a DVD-Rom Drive or DVD-Rw
You probably got infected with several computer virus >

And it woul be easier to get your ass of the chair going to a store buy the Movie and go back home and watch it on TV and you would be able to store the movie in a prety box with Lum on the cover :D) :W

All thoughs are good points but i only use my laptop, which i had for 3 years and it only takes 30 minutes to clean the harddrive so no worries, also buying all the anime takes up alot of space, where as cds just have to be stacked

Anyway i'll only buy anime if I absolutly cant download it

my friend has all of them :D and I watched them all :D I like movie 1: Only you, Movie 3: Remember my love and Movie 5: The last chapter

but Movie 5 is the best :D

Same here. Beautiful Dreamer is, without a doubt, Mamoru Oshii's masterpiece. Very philosophical and imaginative. It's my favorite animated movie of all time.

BTW, the IMDb ratings for the UY movies are as follows:

Only You: 6.9
Beautiful Dreamer: 8.0
Remember My Love: 6.4
Lum the Forever: 6.6
The Final Chapter: 7.7
Always My Darling: 6.8

Kinda low scores, aren't they?

Well, maybe movies 2 and 5 have some high scores, but you can see why IMDb ratings are full of shit. Look at the Bottom 100. Manos: The Hands of Fate is #12, whereas the #1 films on the Bottom 100 is some film made in 2003. I'm almost tempted to add the sentence "IMDb is a f***ing horrible website! Goodbye, folks!" to my profile on that website.*

If u think on it,maybe they got those awards cuz IMBD is mostly used by people with the 2 sided hypotesis,if something doesnt appeal 2 them,they think it is bad,besides these days that page is been used improperly

As for favorite movies,i will always support Movie 1 and 5

With zero doubt-movie number 6 "Always My Darling". The slams Mendou said of Ataru were great. And seeing Ataru on a leash was priceless.
