Navigation through the pages (not forum) made easier
« on: August 24, 2009, 01:03:42 AM »
Currently, I'm creating links to other pages in the same category to make things easier. These links won't be created for the forum itself but only for the links on the left of each page. A working part is the 'What's New?' section which is now linking to the 'What's New? Archives'.

It looks like a pulldown-menu and is positioned at the bottom of the page. Once you selected a page, you will directed to that page within seconds.

Check it out!

Are you talking about the "Jump to:" thingy?

It's definitely a small change, but really, this site is well organized already, so there really isn't much that needs be done XD

*sorta offtopic* I meant to ask, how come that whatever page I browse to on this site, the URL never changes? Is there a reason behind it?

SonicDaMan, you must be using "http://www.lum-chan.com"

The "real" URL is http://www.lum-chan.com

once I use links to forum topics I always load them in other tabs in my browser. Because it shows me the real URL and I don't need to go "back" in order to read other topics

Today, I have added these new navigation links in almost all articles on the main-website. It's making live a lot more easier because I don't have to edit the introduction pages to add links manually. This will do the portal software instead. Nice huh?

Heh! Lazy Lum-chan, but just for a few hours, before I make some new updates available  ;D

I dunno why there's real and a fake URL, but whatever =P
In the earlier days of TWoUYL the forum and the main-site were two seperate websites and so they had each it's own url. Since I combined the two sites to one I redirected the http://www.lum-chan.com/ as a frame to http://www.lum-chan.com/ . That's the reason two domains are available.

I know, it can be quite disturbing but this is how it's now working today  ;)
