Update Suggestions
« on: July 06, 2009, 10:22:39 PM »
I used to like to click on the Complete Music Box links and just listen to them. I have now noticed that I can no longer do this as I have to download them.

Could a listen feature be added for those who don't want to download?

that would mean making a zip file of each album, which doesn't sound too bad to me.

isn't better to share the complete music box as loseless flac file? It exists some copies of the complete music box as loseless version. Currently this site have only the mp3 files as 128kbits.

the flac file is bulky, so it should be made only for archives. its fine as it is

I was considering a per album full download. I do have the .flac version of The Complete Music Box but not enough webspace to host these as well.

I think a per album download would be best.  Also Winzip only works for free for a limited trial period, so I would imagine .zip files can only be opened by people who have bought the software.

Not really, Urusei0Yatsura. I can't remember where I got it from and even though it still appears that annoying "buy winzip. 40 day-trial over" message. I close that and it's all good. Try searching on youtube and I'm sure a tutorial will show you how to get full winzip for free.

Paying for a program to unzip your files? oh please :hehe
Use this one instead http://www.7-zip.org/
this program is free so no worrying about 40 day trials.
Very lightweight and its implemented within the right-click menu. But if you want to associate the program with the .zip, .rar or .7z you'll have to do it manually.
winzip was always troublesome for me, so I changed to 7zip and loved it ever since
