Watching episode 24 of Lucky Star and chanced across an a capella performance of Ai wa Boomerang, sung by Minoru Shiraishi. I'm sure this is the performance noted here sometime last year, yet I'm only now able to watch it without interruption.

It's funny to me, how my wanders in the anime world sometimes cross paths unexpectedly.

Good song. I might have to play with it a bit ....

Well Lucky Star is the kind of anime that references other anime, so I wouldn't call it too unexpected.

They reference Haruhi like crazy, and for the first few episodes, the ending theme was always another anime's theme (such as a DBZ ending)

She referenced Pokemon too. "I can name every single ****mon"

OH! And people cosplayed Full Metal Alchemist ^_^

I couldn't even get passed Episode 3 of Lucky Star... and I've seen worse animes to the very last episode...

I just don't connect with it... somehow...

Lucky Star is one of those animes where you like it but you can understand why others might not like it.
