I know what picture you're talking about, but is not that picture exclusive to the Wideban releases that came out after movie one? I don't know for sure, but I think this is right.

I wonder why Lum Invader not lock Ataru's leg with chain ball, like Elle did on Ataru before.

For the Wedding Ceremony of Elle and Ataru, if Lum Invader did not come to save Ataru, Ataru had no way to escape from Elle and must be a husband of Elle. Because his left leg and locked with a heavy chain ball, so did Ten, both of them share the same ball.

He can run with heavy chain ball, but still not too fast.

One idea is to lock ATARU's leg and LUM's waist with a steel chain. If ATARU tries to escape, LUM can discharge electricity to him via the chain.

You know why Ataru didn't escape from Elle until Lum arrived? Because he didn't have any reason to.

As soon as you give a reason good enough for someone to fight, that person will fight to death. Ataru was depressed. Why was he depressed? No Lum. Yes, Lum is Ataru's reason to live.

Ataru's mind at this point: "I promissed this girl but... I was only a kid. I didn't know what I was doing. Now I have Shinobu, Sakura, Ran, Benten, Ryuu, Oyuuki, Ryoko and... Lum? Anyways, I guess I'll have to say goodbye to my Harem..."

A depressed person is just like a rock: it'll only move by someone else's will. As soon as Lum broke the window, Ataru found his reason not to give up: Lum was fighting to save him so he was going to fight too!

Ataru's mind: "LUM!!!!!! You're here!!! You came for me!!! I MISSED YOU SO MU-- Huh... I mean: THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!! I mean, now I can have a Harem, again!!! "

When it comes to Lum and Ataru's wedding, he'll always find a reason. He won't be depressed so he'll be able to think and to act, because Lum's there, his reason to live. Let's see what goes through his mind:

"Oh no...!!! I can't get stuck to her!!! I'll lose my freedom!!! Shinobu-san, Sakura-san, Ran-chan, Ryuu-chan, Benten-chan, Oyuuki-san, Ryoko-chan!!!! If I stay here, I won't be able to get my harem!!!!"

The thing is that Ataru is afraid of commitment. Just like Mendou freaks out in dark and cramped places, Ataru freaks out in romantic situations with Lum because he knows she's there for the real deal, unlike the rest of the girls that have no interest of having a relationship with him.

If Ataru continues to do any thing flirt, Lum is willing to continue to act as Power Station and will supply free and unlimited electricity to Ataru.

I think that even though Ataru marries Lum, he must still do anything flirt. Flirty is his instinct.

Ha ha, even though Ataru has so-called undead body, he still feels painful of being zapped by high-voltage electricity. Lum must increase voltage once by once if Ataru continues to do flirty things. Unfortunately, everything has its limit and critical point. If Lum zaps Ataru with high voltage higher than Ataru can withstand, Ataru must die. (Lum seems to fail to control her voltage because her anger on Ataru's flirty is terrible and uncontrollable.)

Unfortunately, there is no chapter about Lum's supply of electricity to Moroboshi family for household use. Her electricity is only for love expression for and punishment on Ataru.
