Like I said, have faith in your dorky brethren. These people are obsessive, and that makes them good at what they do. They'll find a way. They always do.

And even if they don't get it at the premiere, it's bound to eventually be released to the public, and when it is, it will most definitely be made available to all.
Excuse me, have you seen my mind? I seem to have misplaced it...

You sure about that? Cosmic told me about an OVA that was premiered once and then never shown again.

i think it cuz OVAs arent supposed to be shown public or theatrically, they're direct-to-video.
thats why they're called OVA- original video animation.

I think will be the same case of DBZ Aniversary Special. Could be published directly in website.

I think merchandising is our best friend in this case. They have to sell it in DVD or PPV specials or something just after they shown, then it will be available for everyone and with great quality thanks to the 'pirater' fans.

New  news  about  the  new  urusei  yatsura  ova

"October 22nd
New UY Episode Finally Finished
Tsukasa Dokite, the director of the new Urusei Yatsura OVA, has announced via his blog that after many delays the special is finally finished and ready for release. Initially Dokite estimated the special would take 16,000 drawings to complete, but the finished product worked out to around 17,600, though he admits he is baffled about why it required more. No word on release dates unfortunately. Thanks to Frogisis for the news! Source: Tsukasa Dokite's Messageboard "

Any news about it ?!?

I was hoping for an original storyline, but if they were going to adapt any of the manga stories that they hadn't done yet, that one makes sense.

Though I would have preferred Fortress of Fastidiousness (where the boys have to break into Asuka's school) or The Electric Household Guard (the second Shingo story where he's trying to Elope with Ryoko).
Excuse me, have you seen my mind? I seem to have misplaced it...

That  would  be  a  great  episode.

But  i  think  they  pic  this  one  because  it  shows  lum  in  a  different  bikiny  ,and  it  has a  scene  were  ataru  protects  lum,  showing  his  atfection  for  her.

You're right, they did make it an OVA, I forgot all about that.

I'd still have preferred the Fortress of Fastidiousness, there just wasn't enough Asuka in the anime.
