Childish? Cardcaptor Sakura is probably one of the most perverted animes and mangas I've ever had the pleasure of enjoying. I loved it (not because it was perverted, but because it was good).
Excuse me, have you seen my mind? I seem to have misplaced it...

Perverted? Maybe because of some of the dresses Tomoyo makes for Sakura, yes... :P

My biggest problem is going to get used to Sakura's Japanese voice. After you hear her portuguese voice, her Japanese one sounds weird.

Cardcaptor Sakura? Her portuguese voice is annoying, her mouse friend is annoying and the end totally sucks (I cried a lot and I was really pissed off because it wasn't an happy ending...).

Anyways, I respect your opinions. :)

I don't agree. I think Usagi (Bunny) Tsukino was made to have that voice. xD

Perverted?

Well it was bad enough that they had to literally cut the anime series in half to edit it for American television (which is why it didn't do so well here, all the edits made it hard to follow). A lot of it had to with the fact that three of the main characters are 10 years old, and they're being put in sexual situations. Even in Japan, that's perverse.

But CLAMP wasn't afraid to go there, touch on things that I know for a fact that 10 year olds think about and do, despite social taboos on it. I have to admit, that's part of the reason I like CLAMP's works, they really push what they can get away.

If you only watched it in portuguese then true, it wasn't a happy ending. I suggest you watch the second movie though, it is the real ending and it's not a sad one. xD

I remember one of Sakura's classmates was in love with one of their teachers. Is that what you meant by "social taboos"?

I was talking about her portuguese voice.

I don't think I'll watch Cardcaptor Sakura again because I'm tired of type of story. There's a cute guy and a cute "luckless" girl that are meant for eachother but he doesn't like her that way untill later. Then there's a weird creature to help the girl save the world with cards, magic powers, magic guitares, flutes, etc. It's just the same thing over and over again, the only thing they change is the characters and a little bit the main plot.

LoL... Perverted... LoL

If that is considered perverted... and I call it childish... then... I must be seeing some Hard-core anime... XD

Btw, the ending in the anime sucked... but in the manga collection, that I have, the ending is good... at least its happy... and so CUTE... XD

Check Chapter 5 its the last one...

Sorry but that's the best I could find... for some reason TokyoPop as rights over it... LoL

One last thing on Card Captor Sakura... it's the ONLY "magical girl" anime/manga I can stand. Well, except for Puni Puni Poemi, but that's a parody and a spin off of the ultra-awesome Excel Saga, so it doesn't count.

Subbing will be easy... what they need is someone to find a video of it... XD

Check Veoh... Megavideo... Eatlime... they will probably... someday have it uploaded... those 3 don't care much about Copyrights... LoL
