#31 gave Bakuto a suspiciuos glare. Bakuto said " honest my lightsabers been malfuntioning."
#31 said "Oh if you say so but we still need to get the target. It'll be much more difficult to get her in the mansion." Bakuto said "Oooh! lets storm the mansion It'll be lots of fun!" #31 said "Hmmm yes we should do that but we need more firepower. Go get sonic cannon. It'll cause so much chaos in the mansion we can slip by without much trouble. Why are dressing like that? Have you been watching the matrix again? You idiot your always trying to act out all these stupid earth shows! I'm telling you thats the reasone why we keep getting stuck on these sorts of missions!"

Bakuto had dressed up in a black trench coat and put on some dark sunglasses. "Hehehe! you can call me Neo! Lets go storm the mansion!"

Osenmark tried to make some sense out of his class. Megane and the stormtroopers had marched off to "save Lum" after the strange girl had been carried off, completely forgetting that the real Lum was sitting right next to them. Ataru had limped away to the Nurse's office, Hudson and Mendou had returned to the mansion, and what remained of his class was in chaos. Most of them had left already, and he was wondering why he didn't do the same. Only Terra was still left. She walked over.

"How the hell can you teach them in such a confined area anyways? You think I built my own army and went to war just by sitting around in a desk looking bored all day?"

Osenmark looked up. "Well, rules are rules.."

"Screw the rules. If you want to teach em something, show it to em first hand! It works a lot better."

"..And how do you intent for me to fund all this?"

Terra dug into her coat and dropped a pouch on his desk, then walked over to the door. "I wasn't gonna get much use out of it anyways." she said, then left.

Osenmark opened the pouch, and a hell of a lot of Yen poured out, more than he could possibly count. A devilish grin appeared on his face.

Back in the mansion, Shutaro had been removed and Cygni had been unshackled from the chair. She rubbed her wrists which had bright red marks on them. Hudson apologized profusely, and went off to go talk to Shutaro, leaving Ryouko behind to talk to Cygni.

"So why were you trying to kill Lum?" she inquired. Cygni walked over to the desk and sat down on one corner.

("Don't give out too much, remember, there's a lot of secrecy involved..")

"I'm not stupid."

Cygni put on a stern expression. "Don't you know what the Oni empire is doing? They've taken thousands of planets, turned the occupants into slaves! They're drilling them to death, and I've been charged with putting an end to that!"

"By whom?"

Cygni shook her head. "I'm not about to reveal that." she grabbed her weapons and replaced them on her body. She checked the watch, it read 8:45 PM.

"Now if you'll excuse me, I've got to go."

Cygni began walking towards the door, but Ryouko moved towards her and grabbed her wrist, while a couple of guards took up positions outside the door.

"I'm sorry, but untill we learn more, you're going to have to be our guests for awhile."

Cygni growled, her emotions in turmoil. On one hand, she respected the way Ryouko had treated her, tending to her wounds and acting kind. On the other, she had a mission to perform, and wasn't about to be slowed down.

Barely holding back tears of frustration, she pulled out her Desert Eagle, switched on the laser sight, and aimed it at Ryouko's head in one swift motion, before the guards could react. They caught on fast and lowered their weapons. Cygni nodded, grabbed Ryouko's arms, and headed towards the exit to the mansion.

When she reached the main hall where the doors were, Hudson was walking downstairs. He froze in mid-step after seeing Ryouko and Cygni. He wanted to grab his gun, but held back. He simply grumbled "If you hurt her.."

After opening the main doors and watching the soldiers outside uneasily lower their weapons, she turned back to Ryouko, tears in her eyes. "Godamnit!" she thought to herself. "I can barely bring myself to kill, much less take hostages!" she nodded to Ryouko and gently released her arm.

"I'm sorry.."

She turned around and took off into the sky before anybody else could react. She felt sick, tired, thirsty, and angry, and spent a good deal of time up above the cloudlayer sobbing and trying to sort her thoughts.

Hudson ran to Ryouko's side almost immediately, and the 2 said nothing, simply embracing for a couple of minutes. But when they turned their backs to walk inside, explosions rocked the compound. Bakuto and the mysterious agent known simply as #31 had begun their attack.

Bakuto and #31 happily laughed as they destroyed a prized Mendou tree and empty guard tower. They then fired at the walls.

Bakuto turned to #31, "I haven't been this stoked in years!!"

"Damn straight!" #31 crowed, "when we're done, let's get a burger and a cold beer."

Bakuto stopped his destruction. "What's that?"

"It's something Earth people consume while watching sporting events!" #31 cheered.

"Oh," Bakuto nodded and resumed firing into the mansion's windows.

Inside Hudson and Ryouko ran into an elevator, once the door shut Hudson smacked the intercom.

"Control!"

"Elevator 17, we're a bit-"

"This is Warren Hudson escorting Ryouko Mendou to your location! What's the status?"

The man on the other end sighed, "we're getting ready to take the invaders out."

"GETTING READY?!? DO IT NOW!!" Hudson blared.

"...!!!...they're evading."

The elevator arrived and the two strode out and stopped in shock at the large viewscreen at the front of the room. It showed a man and woman jumping up and down attacking the mansion, and evading Mendou sharpshooters.

"It's only those two?" Ryouko gasped. She ran over to the PA system, clicked it on for general announcements.

Outside Bakuto blew up a car and #31 uprooted a tree, then stopped as the PA speakers all over the mansion clicked on.

"To whom it may concern, the woman known as Cygni has left the building."

The PA speakers clicked off and Bakuto and #31 stared at eachother scratching their heads.

"Awh screw this crap and let's get the burgers and beer anyway," #31 sighed.

"Yeah," Bakuto said, putting down a car's steering wheel. And the two ran off into Tomobiki.

At the burger shop on the other side of Tomobiki all the assasines were meeting. The owner of the burger place was getting uneasy with all the strange people showing up. Bakuto threatened him with a lightasber and said "What do you mean my order is 50000 yen?"
"W-well you ordered almost all the food in the restraunt."
"Us shapeshifters have a high metabolism! You dare take advantage of that! I shall punish you in the name of justice!" The owner screamed as Bakuto flung him through the window ounto a parked car cracking the windsheild.
#31 said "You may have wondered why I called you all here tonight. Each of us has failed to take out Cygni indevidualy. however if we all work together not even she can escape. When she left the mansion I despatched a tracker probe to lead us to her whereabouts."

Cygni got back to Kintaros garage
"Rough night huh?"

Cygni took a moment from her thoughts to check her watch. She had been floating there for hours. Night had settled in, and it was 10 PM. She cussed.

"I don't know if I have the stomach for this.."

("You're dispatching an evil person, right? Her guards have tried to kill you many times, and who knows what she would do if she found out about what you were doing herself?")

"You're right you know.. but I still can't shake the feeling that I'm being used."

("You'll start feeling better soon.")

"Hope so." She sighed and checked her weapons, then turned on the eyepiece. It tracked Lum and Ataru at home, and as usual, moving about very quickly. She wiped away the last of the tears and put on a face of grim determination. Taking a breath, she flew off to the household.

Down below, #31 and Bakuto were busy eating. #31 was taking one last bite out of his burger, when suddenly a strong feeling hit her in the head. After gagging and coughing up her lunch, she mumbled something about there being a "disturbance in the force" and took off towards Ataru's house at a rapid pace. Bakuto glared at her retreating form, and made a face. "Hey! That was gonna be my line!" He took off to follow her.

Hudson and Ryouko stood in the control center. Ryouko turned to Hudson. "How will we find her again? Chances are she's going after Lum."

Hudson grinned and pulled out a small crude radar device out of his coat. "I took the liberty of putting a small tracking beacon on her arm back at the school.."

"So how come you didn't use it while we were searching for her in the mansion?"

"It's a one shot deal. Once you activate it, it sends out a weak signal, then burns out. It's a tad primitive, but it works." He hit a couple of buttons on it, and smiled as a small green blip briefly appeared, then vanished again. Fiddling with the controls, the blip appeared once again where it was before. He fed the coordinates into the main computer and it showed up on the large map as a red blip.

Cygni was getting closer to Ataru's house when a small burn was felt on her arm. She flinched and checked under her arm, where she saw a small device melt away, leaving a scorch mark. She cussed.

"Great, looks like they have a lock on my position.."

("Keep going, you're almost there.")

She landed in the same tree she had been on, on her last attempt, and stared into the window. The couple had calmed down and were just chatting with each other. They almost seemed to be enjoying each other's company. Cygni flexed her hands nervously.

("Something wrong?")

"Yea, this whole godamn operation. Something's wrong, I just have a gut feeling that this ain't the right thing to do! I mean look at them! She may be a bit harsh sometimes, but she doesn't actually hurt him, or at least not much. Most of the town looks up to her, and her dad is the ruler of a godamn empire! Something stinks."

("You heard what's up, it's all a ruse. Just like what they did with the last 70 planets. She goes in first, captures their hearts, then turns on them after a short time.")

She bared her teeth. The voice had a point. In front of her, the couple giggled. She clenched her hands and slowly pulled out the Desert Eagle, then began slowly moving towards the window.

Lum was happy, she had finally managed to get Ataru to treat her kindly! The advice that strange cloaked girl had given her was working, just try to see what HIS interests are for once, then reel him in! And it was working.

Ataru laughed. They were discussing the things he had seen before he had met Lum.

"...and Cherry told me it was an unlucky direction to go in.. hee hee, you shoulda seen what I did to his head!"

They both laughed. Lum moved a bit closer, and Ataru realized what he was doing.

"Lum.. I never enjoyed being with you this much before.."

"Oh darling.."

"Lum.."

They moved closer to each other, getting ready to kiss. Ataru suddenly noticed something wrong, and stumbled backwards.

"What is it darling?"

"Uh, Lum, why do you have a red dot on your head?"

They turned around and saw Cygni move inside of the room from the window, holding a large black pistol, with a growl on her face.

Cygni had a perfect shot. There was no reason to wait. Clip was full, aim was set to a good headshot, hand was steady. And yet she was hesitating.

Ataru took the chance and moved in between Lum and Cygni, placing the bright red dot on his head. Cygni scowled and tried to move the sight around him, but he was always in the way.

"Get the hell out of the way damnit!"

Ataru shook his head. "No! I love her!"

Cherry was walking past the house, when he looked over and saw Cygni in the window holding a gun to Ataru's head.

"It's fate." he muttered, pulling up a chair and sitting down to watch, right in the middle of the street.

Cygni cussed. "Don't you see what their empire is doing? Taking entire planets and turning them into slaves!"

Lum shook her head from behind Ataru. "No! She's lying!"

"Sure, of course you'd say that."

Ataru shook his head again. "I know Lum's right! She told me everything, and Mr. Invader did as well! You're the one who's wrong!"

Cygni blinked, and her arm waivered a second.

"Shit!" she thought to herself. "What the hell do I do?"

("Follow your heart, remember? Do what's right.")

Beads of sweat appeared on her head, she could feel them. She took a moment to glance behind her, and saw Cherry outside the window, giving her a thumbs-up.

Lum took the moment to shove Ataru aside. "Don't try to hurt my darling!" she screeched, and let loose a lightning bolt, sending Cygni crashing against the wall. Somehow the gun held steady, and the sight again pointed at Lum's head.

Cygni blinked. She knew that Lum hadn't zapped her out of cruelty, or the fact that she had been discovered, it was out of defense. She realized that she had become the bad guy. She had been horribly used.

("Are you sure about that?")

"Positive. If this is justice, then I may as well aim the gun at my own face and yank the trigger."

Lum was charging up for a second attack. Cygni sighed, stood up, and rushed out the window, switching on the eyepiece and her watch. She checked the areas of the previous transmissions she had gotten from Radicus, and homed in on them. His base was located in a deep forest, somewhere in the U.S. She got a lock on it and flew towards it, stopping for nothing, with a scowl on her face.

"That bastard used me. I'm going to kill him, horribly."

She was now over water. The voice spoke back to her. "No, you aren't."

"Huh?"

"You heard me."

Cygni saw lightning cross her vision, then she blacked out, plummeting to the water below. She emerged above the water a moment later, stopping her from drowning to death. The voice sighed to itself. It would take a lot of time to build up another charge that would stop her again, it only hoped Cygni would be unconsious long enough.

Radicus using a thought monitor he had implanted in Cygnis brain said "Hmmm she found us out.Ginkobot should we move to plan B the modified onis?" He spoke to a hologram on the desktop.
Ginkobot said "I hoped it wouldnt come to this so soon. I'm worried that Barriaon wont be able to control his power in his ultimate state."
Radicus said "We have no more options."
Ginkobot"Very well let them out."

Radicus went to another part of the hangar and pressed a series of keys in. Three cryo tubes opened and three strange oni came out. One was a small bald man with three horns. Another was a teenage girl with blue hair and six horns and the last was man with neon yellow hair and twelve horns.
Radicus "Your time has finnaly come. This will be your first mission. I'm aware youve only had time for minimal practise but you have had enough experience with your boosted powers to be of use. DaTus, Cexon, Baraion move out and eliminate any girl who looks like this! Remember you are the first of the super oni and your powers arent perfected use caution."

The three of them left the compound and headed for Tomibiki

Shutaro was being held in his bedroom by armed Kuroko. Earlier Hudson had been there, he didn't say anything, just glared at Shutaro then left; slamming the door hard behind him.

Then there was the battle, or whatever it was outside, he didn't know. No matter, it was soon over.

One of the Kuroko beside him tilted his head ever so slightly, signaling he had just received new orders. The Kuroko nodded to his partner stationed at the door, who opened it to reveal Hudson, Ryouko, and...his grandfather, and even worse still...Madame and Master Mendou, Shutaro's parents. They looked incredibly pissed off.

As everyone filed in and stood around him. Hudson spoke first in his classic Nebraska farm boy accent, "Care to come clean with us boy?"

Cygni awoke to the sound of water splashing against her face. She opened her eyes and saw nothing except water, stretching to the horizon. She opened her eyes wide, then brought herself up into a floating position in mid-air. Her mind was in turmoil.

"You've got some explaining to do!"

("Taking down Radicus won't help you with anything.")

"The hell it won't! He used me!"

(".....So?")

Cygni was becoming aware she had been caught up in a large conspiracy. The mysterious voice had been implanted somehow weeks before, in preperation for what was to come, and to hold her off if things got out of hand.

"Heh, you're not gonna stop me."

("I shall do what I have to.")

Cygni's head filled with an extremely loud and high pitched screeching sound, that caused it to throb in pain. She held her head in her hands and screamed, untill it stopped a few seconds later.

("Not.. going.. anywhere..") the voice said weakly.

"Hah, your power is running out, I knew there was a limitation. You can't use my own body against me, damn you!" With a triumphant look on her face, Cygni resumed her course towards the base. She checked her watch, it read 8 AM. She had been out for awhile.

After what seemed like an eternity of travelling, she found herself above the base area. It was extremely camoflauged in trees and growth, and you'd only notice it if you were looking for it. She rose above the cloudlayer, and using her eyepiece, mapped out the path she would use for her attack.

("You do know they are tracking everything you do.")

Cygni ignored the voice. She had given up on it, and refused to listen any longer.

Back in the mansion, Shutaro put a stunned look on his face. "Explain what?" he said meekly. One of the Kuroko agents walked over and delivered a slap to his face, then returned to his post by the door. Shutaro held his cheek, stunned.

"Don't play games. What the hell was that all about with that girl, Cygni?" Hudson asked, raising his voice.

"I was.. trying to get information out of her.."

"By tieing her to a chair and getting ready to rape her? Honestly Shutaro, I thought you were beyond that!"

Shutaro looked surprised. "Rape? RAPE? What are you talking about? How dare you insult my honor!"

"If it wasn't that, then just what were you doing?"

"I told you, I was trying to get information out of her! She shot some lightning out when I touched her and I-"

"Touched her?"

Shutaro's face whitened. "I wasn't.. uh.."

Hudson walked closer, casting a glare that would make a citizen of the undead turn white.

Cygni gathered her energy and in one giant blast shot the camaflage catching it ablaze. She quikly dove around the large cloud of smoke riseing from the base to use it as a distraction. She took out her desert Eagle. A small man steped in front of her and said "I'm sorry but I cant allow you to go any further."
(Uhoh Cygni! Your gonna get it now! I know who this is!)
Cygni "Shut up!" The little bald man steped foreward "Let me introduce myself. They call me Datus. Dont ask me why they just call me that. I was the first "super oni" to be created." Cygin fired a shot from her desert eagle. It created a burn mark on his flesh. Datsu said "Oh I'm sorry one of my powers gives my slech a unique quality giving it resistence to that sort of weapon.and it can let me do this!" Datus seemed to expand growing about three times his size his muscles rippling with blue vains. He punched Cygni and sent her flying. Datus fired a blast of napalm out of his mouth blowing apart a tree. Cexon and Barriaon watched floating above them. Datus said "The funny thing is those two are allot stronger then me I'm the prototype. Now will you give yourself up?" Suddenly charred peices of flesh exploded from Datuses belly and landed on Cygnis boots. A lightsaber was potruding from his belly.
The lightsaber moved upward splitting him in half.

Bakuto said "Ahh we were looking for you but we found something much more interesting." Bakuto looked up at the two others floating above. # 31 was stationed in a tree with a weapon pointed at them. However Barriaon looked strangely confident. #31 and Bakuto had a bad feeling about this.

Barriaon looked over at the blue haired girl Cexon and said "you handle these guys. I'm going after Lum." The man with 12 horns flew toward Tomibiki high.

Hudson growled and stepped back as Master Mendou stepped forward. "Shutaro! I want you to look into my eyes and tell the truth." His son did so, "were you going to degrade your prisoner?"

"No." Shutaro said firmly. Madame Mendou cleared her throat, "then, son. What was this all about?"

"...there's a surveillance video recording in this room even as we speak...it has your answers." Shutaro lowered his head and closed his eyes.

His family filed out of the room at Hudson's gesture. Leaving Hudson and Ryouko alone with Shutaro, along with a healthy number of Kuroko.

Ryouko's face was like stone as she spoke from still lips, "you'll have to stay here until we varify your story...Big brother. I hope I can call you that again." And with those words affecting Shutaro the most, Ryouko Mendou drew Hudson out of the room by the arm.

Once outside Ryouko and Warren regarded the closed door for several moments.

"What do you think, Warren-kun?"

"I honestly don't know, Ryouko-chan," he moaned.

Cygni looked up, stunned. Things had gone from bad, to worse. As she had suspected, Radicus had a few various backup plans ready in-case she were to fail. And now it appeared that one of them was going to stay and hold her off, while the other went off to kill Lum. She had to make a decision.

The blue haired girl chuckled from her vantage point above. "Come on wench, give it up!" Cygni pulled out her sword and brought it to bear. She yelled, then jumped into the air. She brought her sword up, with the intent to impale her target, but it moved out of the way before she could reach her. She laughed and unleashed a blast, sending Cygni plummeting to the ground below, again.

#31 glanced at the retreating form of the other super-oni. She sure wasn't about to leave that idiot Bakuto in charge of defending Lum. She signalled to him to take care of the blue haired girl, and then Cygni, while she went off to deal with the other Oni.

Bakuto nodded, and #31 leaped across the treetops in pursuit. Cygni noticed her chance and quickly moved into the base itself, closing the blast door behind her. She noticed that a couple of troops had spotted her, and they spun around and opened fire. Dodging bullets, she ducked down behind a couple of large canisters, pulled out her FN-P90, then quickly jabbed up and unleashed a wave of shots, mowing them down. She scanned the room for any other targets, then moved in further.

Lum and Ataru were walking towards school, trying to recover from what had happened last night. As they approached a turn, they ran into Cherry, who held up his hand.

"Going this way is very unlucky!"

Ataru delivered a swift kick to Cherry's groin, which had him bowl over, then roll down the hill like a ball. Ataru laughed.

Before they could reach the school, Barraion flew overhead, laughing, then unleashed a large fireball that exploded in front of them, causing the chunk of sidewalk to explode in pieces. Ataru cowered in fear while Lum tried, unsucessfully, to bring him down with lightning bolts. Barraion chuckled.

"Lets do this the fun way!" he boomed in a deep voice. He rushed in and grabbed Lum in his large hands, picked her up, and began squeezing, hard. Lum felt her bones begin to slowly bend under the pressure, and screamed. Ataru panicked and began throwing things at Barraion, rocks, chairs, pianos, Cherry, but they all just bounced off.

#31 panted, she wasn't going fast enough. She leaped from rooftop to rooftop, trying to catch up to the large Oni who had already overtook her by far. After what seemed like an eternity, she finally stopped and came across him. She brought her blade to bear and rushed towards him. Even if it cost her life, she had to protect Lum.

Cexon said "You! your one of the hunters. My powers aare the same as Lums but their boosted six fold. Prepare to fry!"
She fired a very large blast at Bakuto who managed to get out of the way. The blast melted a 30 foot hole in the bases armor. Bakuto noticed Cygni belwo and jumped through the hole.
Cygni said "Gee it just seems to go from bad to worse!"
Bakuto said "Ahh well things have a tendacy to do that when I'm involved. Say this is just like that part in Big trouble in little china where the elecktric guy is chasing those guys!" He said pointing at the ceiling where Cexon was slowly descending with lightning bolts shooting out of her body. Cygni said "You watch to much TV."
She started to fire blasts at Bakuto and Cygni who put aside their differences and started running through the base with large blasts of energy behind them.
Bakuto ran behind some shelves and took something out of his bag. It was a tiger striped box. Bakuto said "I hate stripes." the box began to grow into a mecha.

Barraion caught #31s sword with one hand inches from his face. A little bit of blood trickled down the sword. Barraion said "Enough of this fooling around. Now it's time for me to show you my true form." He flung #31 into the windsheild of a car and started to change holding Lum under one arm.
Ataru was panicking and still throwing things at the growing Barraion. Barraion horns grew very large and he turned into a something that looked simular to Violator from spawn except he was tiger striped and had more horns he was no 40 feet tall. Barrainons horns glowed and he fired a burst of energy from his mout that blew upa building. A little voice in Barraions ear said "Stop fooling around and kill her." Barraion said "Aww shut up I'm in control now! I feel like a could take on the world!"
The giant headed for Mendo manshoin with Ataru and # 31 in pursuit.

Ryouko was sitting alone in one of the mansion's verious kitchens drinking some tea when the battle alert sounded. She immediately made her way to the Control Center where her father and Hudson were rapidly giving orders.

"Scramble all aircraft and the heavy mecha troops! Ready missiles and bombers!" Hudson screamed. Master Mendou was now on the PA system, "repeat, all troops to the grounds, and all other personal to shelter areas! This is not a drill!"

Ryouko arrived and Hudson frowned, "Ryouko, it appears some aliens have arrived to really mess up the town again."

Ryouko sighed, "give me a break, what else is new?"
